JEJU, SOUTH KOREA, October 2, 2025– The two-day High Roller was one of the marquee attractions of APT Jeju 2025, drawing a massive 260 entries and creating a staggering KRW 898 million prize pool. With some of the biggest names on the circuit in attendance, it stood as one of the largest high-roller events of the festival.
Emerging victorious was Singapore’s Ravn Teo, who secured his third APT title and a career-best payday of KRW 148,050,000 (~USD 105,750). Already with two other cashes in Jeju, Teo proved his consistency and took this over the line. This victory marks a significant milestone for the Singaporean pro, whose live earnings now effectively doubles with the highest live score of his poker career to date.
The final three players agreed to an ICM deal, locking up hefty payouts while leaving KRW 13,050,000 and the trophy to be contested. In the end, Teo held firm to seal the win, denying China’s Yingjie Chen a second title of the series. Chen nonetheless added to his standout festival with a runner-up finish worth KRW 117,500,000 (~USD 83,929), his best live score to date.
China’s Hongsheng Zhang, the least experienced of the trio, delivered a breakthrough performance of his own, turning his deep run into a third-place finish and a remarkable career-high score of KRW 122,000,000 (~USD 87,143).
Romanian pro Iulian Blebea, who entered Day 2 as chip leader, was unable to hold momentum and bowed out with a min-cash.

Chan Claims First APT Title in Event #59: NL – Hold’em
Chan takes down his first APT title in one of the larger side events of the festival
The spotlight shone on Chon Chan of Macau in Event #59: NL – Hold’em, where he topped a massive 234-entry field — one of the largest side events of the series — to secure his first APT title. The Macau pro, with over USD 100,000 in live earnings and one other cash earlier in Jeju, makes the second biggest score of his poker career here.
An ICM deal was struck during heads-up play, with both Chan and Hong Kong’s Chan Sheung Chau locking in sizeable payouts. The battle for the trophy ultimately went Chon Chan’s way, as he walked away with KRW 28,928,995 (~USD 20,664) and the title.
Chan Sheung Chau earned a commendable KRW 26,050,000 (~USD 18,607) for second place, while China’s Jiaqi Teng completed the podium with KRW 15,600,000 (~USD 11,143). Japan’s Yukinari Mera, a recent APT champion in Incheon and with two cashes earlier this series, also made a strong run, finishing fifth for KRW 10,010,000 (~USD 7,150).

Hu Breaks Through in Event #66: NL – Hold’em – Heads Up
Hu battles his way to his first APT title and live cash
China’s Ting Hu took down Event #66: NL – Hold’em – Heads Up, a 32-entry, single-elimination bracket that tested players in heads-up battle. With each match played as a best-of-three format, adaptability was as crucial as raw poker skill. Rising to the challenge, Hu captured his first-ever live cash and converted it into a dream debut title, walking away with KRW 10,248,409 (~USD 7,320).
Hu outlasted compatriot Fangzhou Zhu in the final, who settled for KRW 6,600,000 (~USD 4,714) after a strong run through the bracket. The semi-final places went to Xiang Liu and Yu Cen, both earning KRW 2,200,000 (~USD 1,571) for their efforts.

Hiasa Shines in Event #67: Turbo – High Roller
Hiasa claims his first first APT title and largest live cash of his poker career
Japan’s Yuto Hiasa secured a defining victory in Event #67: Turbo – High Roller, outlasting a 65-entry field to claim his biggest-ever live cash. With only one other cash earlier in the series, Hiasa turned this deep run into a breakthrough, earning KRW 24,550,000 (~USD 17,536) and almost doubling his lifetime live earnings in the process.
China’s Mingcong Chen, already the winner of the APT Super High Roller earlier this festival, added another strong result to his Jeju campaign, finishing runner-up for KRW 17,690,000 (~USD 12,636).
Poland’s Monika Agnieszka Hrabec, who impressed with a second-place finish in the Women’s Main Event earlier in the series, maintained her momentum by taking third here for KRW 11,500,000 (~USD 8,214).

Punsri Adds Fifth APT Title in Event #68: 7 Card Stud Masters
Punsri makes it five fabulous APT titles with this victory
Thailand’s Punnat Punsri reaffirmed his status as one of Asia’s elite with a commanding victory in Event #68: 7 Card Stud Masters. The Thai super pro, boasting over USD 30 million in live earnings and a former APT Main Event champion, outlasted a 29-entry field to secure his fifth APT title and a payout of KRW 13,904,000 (~USD 9,931).
China’s Xixiang Luo, a WSOP bracelet winner and one of the hottest performers in Jeju, came close to adding yet another APT title this series but ultimately had to settle for second place and KRW 9,580,000 (~USD 6,843). The podium was completed by China’s Yao Liu, who banked KRW 6,110,000 (~USD 4,364) for his strong third-place finish.

Tan Captures Maiden Title in Event #69: Women’s Event
Tan lifts her very first APT trophy
Malaysia celebrated a new champion as Jenifer Tan Singer took down Event #69: Women’s Event, besting a 22-entry field to earn her first APT title. An amateur player whose results began surfacing this year, Tan collected KRW 3,790,352 (~USD 2,708) for her victory and marked a milestone moment in her budding career.
China’s Shi Tao Li fought her way to the runner-up position, securing KRW 2,530,000 (~USD 1,807), while compatriot Wenzhen Gao completed the podium with a third-place finish worth KRW 1,620,000 (~USD 1,157).

Li Doubles Up in Event #70: PLO Omaha High
Li makes it two in Jeju
China’s Dong Li continued his strong festival showing by taking down Event #70: PLO Omaha High, outlasting a 50-entry field to capture his second APT title of the series. Already victorious in Event #3: PL Omaha Hi-Lo – 5 Card (Big O), Dong proved his mettle once more, adding KRW 9,085,840 (~USD 6,490) to his bankroll.
The Chinese pro is now approaching USD 400,000 in live earnings, with Jeju marking one of his most successful series to date. This latest triumph adds to an already impressive run of results, where he has recorded three cashes alongside his two titles.
Compatriot Zhihao Zhang came closest to denying Li, finishing runner-up for KRW 6,570,000 (~USD 4,693). Australia’s Mouaid Peter Khamas secured third place, banking KRW 4,190,000 (~USD 2,993).

Wang Scores First Victory in Event #71: NL – Hold’em
Wang pulls out the stops to win his first APT title and live cash
China’s Chunyang Wang delivered a stellar performance at APT Jeju 2025 by winning Event #71: NL – Hold’em. The event attracted a sizeable 174 entries, with 23 players making the money, and Wang rose above the field to capture the title and KRW 26,858,227 (~USD 19,184). An amateur with no prior live cashes, Wang turned this into a career-first result, marking both his first APT title and first-ever live tournament cash.
China’s Yu Sen earned the runner-up finish for KRW 18,200,000 (~USD 13,000), while Thailand’s Nontapat Wattana completed the podium with a third-place showing worth KRW 12,130,000 (~USD 8,664).

Liu is picking up momentium with his second APT title of the series
China’s Ziwen Liu continued his outstanding festival run by taking down Event #73: Turbo – PL Omaha Hi-Lo – 5 Card (Big O). The event drew 31 entries, with five places paid, and Liu outlasted the competition to collect KRW 4,700,496 (~USD 3,358).
This win marks Liu’s second title of the series — following his earlier victory in in the series and his fourth APT title overall. Alongside another cash this series, Liu has made APT Jeju 2025 a series to remember for himself.
China’s Jiapeng Yang finished in second place for KRW 3,240,000 (~USD 2,314), while fellow countryman Yin Liu rounded out the top three with a payout of KRW 2,070,000 (~USD 1,479).

Huang takes home his second APT title
China’s Kaihua Huang put in a strong performance to take down Event #74: Turbo – NL Hold’em for his second career APT title. The event brought in a solid 75 entries, with eleven players sharing the prize pool, and Huang outlasted them all to claim the trophy and KRW 11,923,760 (~USD 8,517).
Japan’s Koto Horiuchi secured the runner-up finish, banking KRW 8,470,000 (~USD 6,050). The podium was rounded out by China’s Junqiang Lyu, who pocketed KRW 5,540,000 (~USD 3,957) for his third-place effort.

An amateur with some live results, Musashi had already picked up one cash earlier in the series. This time, he turned his momentum into a breakthrough triumph, banking KRW 4,650,432 (~USD 3,322) along with the trophy. China’s Kegong Cheng finished runner-up for KRW 3,100,000 (~USD 2,214), while Japan’s Yuta Mutsuura took third place for KRW 1,990,000 (~USD 1,421) to round out the podium.
