INCHEON, SOUTH KOREA, August 8, 2025 – While the tours’ largest Korean Main Event may have wrapped up, that was not the conclusion of all the record-breaking action, with the penultimate day of the festival also showcasing the conclusion of the APT’s largest Korean-based Mini Main Event, which you can read about further down.
You can read about all the Main Event final table action HERE.
In addition to those two exciting events, there was also action from last of the festivals signature trophy events — the APT High Roller — which came with a juicy KRW 500 million (~USD 361,500) guarantee and was another event to set a new tour country record, attracting a 245-entry field – you can read about this below.
Then there was the two-day KRW 700,000 (~USD 500) Double Stack, which came with a 150,000,000 (~USD 108,500) guarantee and drew a 693-entry field to set a new APT country record for both field size and prize pool – you can read all about this in the side event day 9 press release.
APT High Roller Action
Tournament action in the two-day KRW 5M (~USD 3,615) APT High Roller got underway at 11:15am (KST) with the tournament drawing a 245-entry field comprised of 168 unique players, setting a new tour country record for field size for the event.
The Day 1 action played out over sixteen 40-minute levels, with the tours’ dedicated high roller player base competing for a place in the Final Day to compete for a share of the KRW 1,058,400,000 (~USD 765,293) prize pool and a shot at claiming glory and taming the award-winning Bronze Lion APT High Roller trophy.
