INCHEON, SOUTH KOREA, AUGUST 4, 2025– Event #31: High Roller – Ultra Stack made its debut on South Korean soil in scintillating fashion, drawing a 197-entry field packed with elite stars and high rollers. After a full day of intense play, 27 runners remain, each having locked up a min-cash of KRW 7,660,000 (~USD 5,500) heading into the Final Day. A first-place prize of KRW 169,636,000 (~USD 121,800) is up for grabs.
Hongjun Zhao of China leads the charge with 1,750,000 chips. With more than USD 1 million in live tournament earnings, Zhao is no stranger to high-stakes pressure and will return as the one to watch when cards go back in the air.
Not far behind is Ryosuke Ikari of Japan, who bagged 1,456,000 chips. A consistent presence on the Asian poker circuit, Ikari now has his sights set on a career-best result.
Australia’s Dylan Wayne Foster, another player with over USD 1 million in live earnings, continues his quest for a long-awaited APT title. After coming painfully close at APT Manila 2025, where he finished third in the Main Event, Foster is back in the hunt with 1,427,000 chips and a shot at redemption.
Chih Wei Fan of Taiwan, on a hot streak this year on the tour, also returns tomorrow with 1,208,000 chips. A three-time APT champion, including two wins this year alone, Fan will be gunning for his fourth title as he looks to extend his run.

Matsuda Earns Maiden Title in Event #30: Big “O” Masters
Matsuda takes home his first APT title
Japan’s Tomoki Matsuda captured his first APT title in Event #30: Big “O” Masters – PL Omaha Hi-Lo – 5 Card, outlasting a 42-entry field. The win also pushed Matsuda closer to the USD 200,000 mark in total live earnings as he secured KRW 18,512,000 (~USD 13,292) for the victory.
King Chun Horace Leung, who had already recorded a final table finish earlier this series, came excruciatingly close to his second APT title but ultimately had to settle for second place and KRW 12,790,000 (~USD 9,181). Nagino Makoto took third place and KRW 8,160,000 (~USD 5,861) to complete the podium.

Xu Rises to the Top in Event #32: NL Hold’em – Freezeout
Xu makes his mark on the tour with his first APT title
Chinese pro Yuan Xu earned his first APT title in Event #32: NL Hold’em – Freezeout, coming out ahead of a 218-entry field, one of the largest so far this series. Xu began the final table with a middling stack but patiently chipped up to claim the top prize of KRW 38,740,000 (~USD 27,822). This marks his second cash of the series and his most significant APT result to date.
Kaito Hashimoto of Japan followed a similar trajectory, starting from the middle of the pack and grinding his way to a runner-up finish worth KRW 26,080,000 (~USD 18,720). Switzerland’s Christophe Marchon-Pauget delivered one of the more impressive runs of the night, turning the shortest stack at the final table into a third-place finish and KRW 18,390,000 (~USD 13,205).

Fedotov Doubles Up with Second Title in Event #33: Limit – Dealer’s Choice – 7 Stud
Fedotov is on a heater after winning his second APT title this series
APT newcomer Mikhail Fedotov continues to make waves at APT Incheon 2025, capturing his second title of the series in Event #33: Limit – Dealer’s Choice – 7 Stud. The Russian player, who previously triumphed in Event #2: PL Omaha 5 Card – Hi-Lo, outplayed a 46-entry field to claim KRW 7,740,662 (~USD 5,559) — his biggest live tournament cash to date.
Joan Kathleen Allen from Australia came close to denying Fedotov, finishing second for KRW 5,350,000 (~USD 3,842), while Thailand’s Vorakrit Vorakulsathian rounded out the top three with a payout of KRW 3,420,000 (~USD 2,456).

Sun Captures First APT Title in Event #34: Turbo – Women’s Event
Sun shines bright with her first APT title
China’s Yue Sun made her mark at Event #34: Turbo – Women’s Event, claiming her first APT title and the biggest live score of her career. The Chinese amateur bested a field of 61 entries to earn KRW 5,691,561 (~USD 4,088) and her maiden APT trophy.
Wai Lam Wong of Hong Kong also made a strong run, taking home the runner-up prize of KRW 4,100,000 (~USD 2,944), while Thailand’s Kanokon Vasinsunthon rounded out the top three with KRW 2,660,000 (~USD 1,910) for her third-place finish.

Yu Blasts His Way to First APT Title in Event #37: Turbo - PL Omaha High - Double Board - Bomb Pot
Yu makes the largest score of his career and his first APT title
Yu Ruidi of China claimed his first APT title and the largest live cash of his career, taking down Event #37: Turbo – PL Omaha High – Double Board – Bomb Pot after outlasting a large field of 105 entries. The win earned him KRW 6,442,016 (~USD 4,626).
Martijn Johannes Gerrits of the Netherlands, making his fifth cash of the series, came within reach of the title but ultimately finished runner-up, collecting KRW 4,440,000 (~USD 3,188). Olzhas Kinbayev of Kazakhstan completed the podium in third place for KRW 2,910,000 (~USD 2,089).

Yamamoto Grabs First APT Title in Event #38: Hyper Turbo – Win the Button
Yamamoto's first live cash is also his first APT title
Japan’s Hajime Yamamoto enjoyed a dream debut on the APT, turning his first-ever live cash into a title win at Event #38: Hyper Turbo – Win the Button. The Japanese amateur outlasted a tough 123-entry field to secure KRW 12,711,968 (~USD 9,126) and his maiden trophy.
Compatriot Yukinari Mera, already an APT champion earlier this festival, came close to clinching his second title but settled for second place and KRW 8,570,000 (~USD 6,154). China’s Chunhao Zhang completed the podium with a strong third-place finish, earning KRW 5,570,000 (~USD 3,999).

Weng Claims Victory in Event #39: Hyper Turbo – NL – Triple Draw Mix
Weng's victory puts him at three APT titles
Jun Weng has added another title to his growing APT résumé, taking down Event #39: Hyper Turbo – NL – Triple Draw Mix after outlasting a 31-entry field. Already boasting over USD 200,000 in live tournament earnings, the Chinese pro came into the event with one earlier cash this series and now secures his third APT title in Incheon, banking KRW 3,670,793 (~USD 2,636) for the victory.
It was an all-China showdown at the top, with Lante Zhang claiming KRW 2,530,000 (~USD 1,816) for second place, while Yang Lu finished third and took home KRW 1,610,000 (~USD 1,156).

Cao Claims Long-Awaited First APT Title in Event #40: Super Hyper Turbo
Cao finally bags his first APT title
China’s Tingjia Cao added a long-awaited title to his poker career, taking down Event #40: Super Hyper Turbo at APT Incheon 2025. With over USD 400,000 in live earnings prior to this series, the experienced grinder outlasted a 113-entry field to earn his first APT title and a payout of KRW 8,092,531 (~USD 5,810).
Thailand’s Mr Watthanakit Pinyorattanakit put up a spirited heads-up fight, finishing runner-up for KRW 5,570,000 (~USD 3,999). Meanwhile, Canada’s Nohad Teliani, who recently secured her maiden APT win in Event #11: PL Omaha High - High Roller, added yet another deep run to her series by placing third and banking KRW 3,650,000 (~USD 2,621).
