Murly Manokharan sat on the big blind with Seunghyuk Jung under the gun and Kento Nasu on the button.

A pot of around 19,000 was in the middle with a flop that showed T 2 2

Manokharan and Jung checked their option to Nasu, who pushed 6,500 across the betting line. Manokharan stepped out of the way while Jung raised it to 21,000.

Nasu took a peek at his cards and decided it was better off in the muck.

Kento Nasu

With nearly, 200,000 sat in the pot, the board read 4 9 2 T 3 and Punnat Punsri checked from the cutoff to Kento Nasu on the button, who went into the tank before firing off a river bet of 30,000.

Punsri went deep into the tank and debated what to do. he tossed in the call reluctantly, only to muck his cards on seeing Nasu table Q Q and Nasu, was pushed the sizeable pot.

Nevan Chang

There are a total of 33 entries at the event with one casualty so far. Natural8 Ambassador Nevan Chang was the first one to exit when the dealer announced "Seat open!"

Chang is expected to return with registration still open until the start of Level 12.

Meanwhile, some regular APT faces who have taken a seat include the likes of Murly Manokharan, Ethan "Rampage" Yau and Dylan Foster.

Lithuania's Gytis Lazauninkas held the chip lead following the break with a huge stack of 425,000 and is the only one so far who surpassed the 400K mark.

There are a total of 27 entries with everyone still with chips and a seat. They are on a quick 15-minute break.

Rudy Edenata

Daniel Neilson and Rudy Edenata - two APT High Roller champions - were competing for a pot of around 65,000 with a board that showed 9 9 4 6 .

Neilson checked his option from early position to Edenata, who fired a bet of 25,000 from the hijack.

Neilson took a peek of his cards before finally sending them back to the muck.

Wouter Beltz

Action folded to Wouter Beltz in the cutoff, who raised it up to 4,500 and found a call from Sihyun Kim in the big blind.

Kim check-called Beltz's 3,000 continuation bet on the Q 7 3 flop for the J to peel off on the turn. Kim checked it to Beltz once more, who bet out for 16,000, Kim called.

On the Q river Kim put out a 5,000 river bet and after tanking for a short while Beltz mucked his hand to send the pot to Kim with no showdown.

Rene Von Reden

More notable players have been making their mark in the event with the likes of Germany's Rene Von Reden and Indonesia's Rudy Edenata taking their seats.

Von Reden made his mark in the APT by winning the Main Event during APT Taipei Poker Classic 2024. Meanwhile, Edenata has been taking his poker professionally in less than a year's time and already made his mark in the APT by emerging as the champion in the APT High Roller during the APT Jeju Classic 2026. Most recently, Edenata scored his biggest career cash by topping the Main Event in Poker Dream 21 held in Malaysia.

Sihyun Kim

So far, there are 26 players on the roster and all of them still maintaining their seats. Among the more notable stacks are those of Sihyun Kim with 367,000, Daniel Neilson with 355,000 and Andy Tsai with 317,000.

Andy Tsai

John Perry sat on the cutoff and was up against Andy Tsai on the button. A pot of 48,000 was in the middle with a flop that showed 8 3 8 .

Perry checked over to Tsai, who fired out a bet of 18,000. Perry matched and both players were shown a K on the turn.

Perry tapped his option to Tsai, who fired a more aggressive 50,000. Perry matched again and a 5 came on the river.

Perry tapped and eventually surrendered the massive pot when Tsai pushed in for another bet of 100,000.
