TAIPEI, TAIWAN, November 22, 2025– Day 9 of the APT Championship 2025 delivered another blockbuster session inside Red Space, with three Championship Events finding winners in a single day. The #1006 [Event 6] Natural8 Cup Championship Freezeout, the #1008 [Event 8] Mixed Games Championship, and the #1009 [Event 9] APT Women’s Championship – Sponsored by LIPS all played down to their conclusion.
Meanwhile, the #1007 [Event 7] Super High Roller Championship cut down to its final table, with some of the festival’s biggest names returning tomorrow to battle for one of the most prestigious Championship trophies of the APTC. Over in the side events, the Event #80: High Roller – Ultra Stack set new records for the APT New era, closing out a packed day of action across the board at Red Space.
Day 9 proved to be another busy day as the tension builds up to the Main Event in two days. Read on for all the highlights and standout performances.
Lions Galore
The attention on Day 9 was focused on three newly crowned champions, as the festival added another trio of title-winners to Championship history. New Zealand’s Jon Rounce-Sue emerged victorious in the Natural8 Cup Championship Freezeout, navigating a tough final table to secure one of the most prestigious titles of the series. Over in the Mixed Games Championship, Taiwan’s Wei Kai Lin claimed the title on home soil after a clinical performance. Rounding out the day’s Championship results was the APT Women’s Championship – Sponsored by LIPS, where frenchwoman Rosalie Marine Petit rose above to claim victory.

Over in the Super High Roller Championship, the field was trimmed down to the final table and then further to the last six, including chipleader Roman Hrabec surviving to fight on the Final Day. The remaining contenders will return tomorrow to battle for one of the most sought-after Championship titles and trophy of the entire APT Championship series

Xu Takes Down Turbo - High Roller
Xu breaks his APT title duct for his first one in his poker career
China’s Hang Xu powered through a competitive 190-entry field to win Event #95: Turbo – High Roller, securing TWD 1,817,900 (USD 58,816) and claiming his first APT title. With over USD 1.2 million in live earnings and two prior cashes already recorded in this Championship, Xu took his opportunity and gets it over the line.
Singapore’s Kok Kong Liew delivered an impressive run to finish runner-up for TWD 1,227,100 (USD 39,703), while Japan’s Kazuhiko Yotsushika completed the podium in third place, taking home TWD 844,600 (USD 27,327).
