JEJU, SOUTH KOREA, September 29, 2025– American pro Kaiwen Wei continued to make waves in his debut APT series, capturing his first APT title in Event #32: NL Hold’em – Freezeout. After finishing runner-up in the Event #23: Single Day High Roller earlier in the festival, Wei went one better here, outlasting a 237-entry field to secure the trophy and KRW 56,318,400 (~USD 40,228). The result marked his first major win on the APT stage.
Japan’s Yukinari Mera came close to his second APT title, ultimately finishing runner-up for KRW 37,910,000 (~USD 27,079). Already a champion from APT Incheon 2025, Mera delivered his largest career cash to date — nearly tripling his previous best result — and moved closer to crossing the USD 100,000 live earnings milestone.
China’s Siyu Ji, an amateur player, also celebrated a personal milestone by earning his best-ever live cash with a third-place finish, worth KRW 26,730,000 (~USD 19,093).

Lin Earns First APT Title in Event #33: PL Omaha High
Lin came up with the goods for his first APT title
China’s Zhaoyi Lin celebrated a first victory on the APT circuit in Event #33: PL Omaha High, overcoming a 54-entry field to secure his first APT title. Having already picked up one cash earlier in the series, Lin pushed deeper this time and came away with the trophy and KRW 9,335,907 (~USD 6,668).
Yipeng Yi finished runner-up, claiming KRW 6,770,000 (~USD 4,836), while fellow Chinese player Zehao Li secured the third spot on the podium with a payout of KRW 4,370,000 (~USD 3,121).

Tran Goes Back-to-Back in Event #34: 9-Game – High Roller
Tran on the double as he wins his second APT trophy in as many days
Austria’s Hanh Tran is on a roll at APT Jeju 2025, winning Event #34: 9-Game – High Roller, securing his second trophy in as many days. Coming off his triumph in Event #24: Limit – Triple Draw Mix, Tran added another mixed game title to his poker resume.
The event drew 16 entries, and when play reached the final three, the competitors agreed to an ICM chop. Tran, with the chip lead, secured the first-place finish and the trophy, along with a payout of KRW 15,372,000 (~USD 10,980). The victory also marked his third career APT title, all of which have come in mixed game formats.
China’s Zhihao Zhang took second place under the deal, banking KRW 13,830,000 (~USD 9,879), while Japan’s Akihide Shimizu finished in third, earning KRW 12,270,000 (~USD 8,764).

Ohta Claims First APT Title in Event #36: Women’s Event
Ohta takes down her first APT Women's Event title
Japan’s Ohta Ami scored a first in her poker career in Event #36: Women’s Event, defeating a 34-entry field to earn her first APT title. The Japanese amateur held her nerve to capture the trophy and a winner’s payout of KRW 6,230,489 (~USD 4,451).
China’s Fang Zhang took second place for KRW 4,290,000 (~USD 3,064), while compatriot Wenjie Wang rounded out the podium in third, collecting KRW 2,730,000 (~USD 1,950).

Mamiya Captures First APT Title in Event #37: Limit – Dealer’s Choice – 7 Stud
Mamiya secures her very first APT Lion trophy
Japan’s Ruiko Mamiya secured a long-awaited victory on the APT by winning Event #37: Limit – Dealer’s Choice – 7 Stud, claiming her first APT title. A seasoned pro closing in on USD 400,000 in career live earnings, Mamiya overcame a 16-entry field to earn KRW 4,430,268 (~USD 3,165).
China’s Qiang Xu, who recently secured his own maiden APT title earlier in the festival, finished runner-up here for KRW 2,960,000 (~USD 2,114). Fellow countryman Yanchao Li, fresh off his Turbo High Roller victory, took third place for KRW 1,850,000 (~USD 1,321), marking yet another strong mixed-game performance.

Thai Duo Triumphs in Event #38: NL Hold’em – Teams Event
The Thai Supreme team took down the Teams Event at APT Jeju 2025
Thailand’s Pornraksamanee Runch and Wattana Nontapat joined forces to claim victory in Event #38: NL Hold’em – Teams Event, topping a 90-entry field to both secure a trophy and a payout of KRW 6,338,000 (~USD 4,527) each. The duo’s teamwork carried them to capture Pornraksamanee’s second APT title and Wattana’s first.
China’s Chen Long and Gu XiaoChun finished as runners-up, collecting KRW 4,385,000 (~USD 3,132) each, while the partnership of Pang San Hon (Hong Kong) and Suen Wai Kin (United Kingdom) completed the podium with a third-place prize of KRW 2,800,000 (~USD 2,000) each.
In addition to the main prizes, the last team standing award was presented to China’s Wang Haozhao and Huang Zhenfang, who both earned KRW 4,665,000 (~USD 3,332) — equal to 20% of the prize pool — after surviving the longest as a team in the tournament.

Luo Claims Fourth APT Title in Event #40: Turbo – PL Omaha Hi-Lo – 5 Card (Big O)
Luo goes the distance for his fourth APT title
China’s Xixiang Luo added yet another win to his growing APT live victories by winning Event #40: Turbo – PL Omaha Hi-Lo – 5 Card (Big O). Already boasting more than USD 5.3 million in live earnings, Luo overcame a 56-entry field to capture his fourth APT title and KRW 6,900,896 (~USD 4,929).
Fellow Chinese player Houyu Zheng, who recently won his first APT title earlier in the series, came close to a second victory but ultimately finished runner-up for KRW 4,980,000 (~USD 3,557). Hang Zhou also joined them on the all-Chinese podium, claiming third place and KRW 3,210,000 (~USD 2,293).

Chen Breaks Through in Event #41: Turbo – Win the Button
Chen shows consistency pays with his first APT title
China’s Yingjie Chen finally converted another deep run in this series into a victory by winning Event #41: Turbo – Win the Button. After recording three cashes earlier in the series, Chen went the distance this time, rising above a massive 201-entry field to secure his first APT title along with KRW 29,586,572 (~USD 21,133).
China’s Meng Dian Peng earned the runner-up finish for KRW 19,950,000 (~USD 14,250), while compatriot Qing Bo Gao completed the all-Chinese podium, taking third place and KRW 13,730,000 (~USD 9,807).

Li's hot streak continues with his second APT title this series
China’s Zehao Li continued his strong run at APT Jeju 2025 by capturing his second APT title in Event #42: Hyper Turbo – NL – Triple Draw Mix. Already with two cashes and a trophy earlier in the series, Li added another mixed-game victory to his record by defeating a 36-entry field for KRW 4,270,921 (~USD 3,051).
Runner-up honours went to compatriot Bin Wu, who earned KRW 2,940,000 (~USD 2,100), while fellow Chinese player Songzhao Gu rounded out the podium with KRW 1,870,000 (~USD 1,336).

Liu ships his first APT title
China’s Yin Liu achieved an APT milestone in Event #43: Hyper Turbo – Super Hold’em, capturing his first APT title after rising above a tough 125-entry field. A seasoned professional with more than USD 600,000 in live earnings, Liu added a new lion trophy to his collection and taking KRW 12,912,000 (~USD 9,223) for the win.
