Action folded to Yubin Heon on the button, who used his monster stack to apply pressure to the blinds by announcing "all in."

Taisaku Iwao folded from the small blind, but Motokatsu Uhara risked his last 525,000 by making the call on the big blind.

The flop came K 8 T giving Heon the lead with a pair of eights.

Uhara found no help on the runout of K on the turn and 6 on the river, sending him to the payout cage as a 17th place finisher.

With Uhara's elimination, the remaining 16 players were combined into the final two tables.

The remaining 17 players are now on a 15-minute break.

Ian Mallinson

Ian Mallinson was blinded all-in from the big blind for his last 5,000 chips, having lasted the best part of a level on fumes. Anson Lau raised to 250,000 from under the gun before calling Oliwer Sankiewicz's three-bet to 750,000 from the next seat, leaving 20,000 in the main pot and starting a 1,500,000 side pot.

The 7 9 2 flop saw Lau check-call Sankiewicz's 400,000 bet before both players checked down the Q turn and K river.

Sankiewicz tabled A J for ace-high, Lau showed 6 2 for a pair of deuces, but it was Mallinson who came out on top, in relative terms, holding 7 4 for a pair of sevens to scoop the main pot.

The reprieve was short-lived, however. Mallinson was blinded all-in from the small blind the very next hand and couldn't survive, exiting in 18th place for TWD 109,100 (~USD 3,497).

Small blind Wai Kin Ng shoved his remaining stack, and Kristof Segers asked for a count before quickly correcting himself as he peeked at his cards.

"No need," he said, plonking a stack of chips into the middle.

The dealer fanned the Q K A flop, giving both players a piece. Ng was out in front with a pair of queens, but a ten would score the knockout for Segers. The 8 5 runout was unaccommodating to the Belgian, however, giving Ng a desperately needed double.

Shixiang Khoo

20 players remain in the Mystery Bounty Hunter event, and one table currently features the top three stacks in the field.

Leading the way is Keisuke Tateda, whose big slick eliminated Rishi Mehra in a recent hand. The Japanese player holds a commanding 5,600,000.

Not far behind is Singapore's Shixiang Khoo with 4,900,000. Khoo has historic success on the APT circuit, having won the 2023 APT Summer Series Da Nang Main Event for ~USD 165,000.

In third is Belgium's Kristof Segers with 4,100,000, who has already claimed an APT title earlier in this series.

The action was joined as Kaihung Hu put Ming Pui Cheung all in preflop and both players turned over their holdings.

Cheung proudly flipped over her pocket rockets, which held and avoided a near-chop on the 2 6 3 5 7 runout, securing a full double - back towards the average stack.

Keisuke Tateda

Hijack Rishi Mehra's A Q was up against cutoff Keisuke Tateda's A K , all-in and at risk for his last ~1,400,000 chips.

He found no help on the 8 3 T flop, with the Singaporean out of his seat as the 2 7 turn and river cards were peeled off.

"Welcome back," a tablemate said to Tateda, referencing his more workable stack.

A total of TWD 3,130,000 (~USD 100,321) worth of bounties have been pulled so far. Sin Lan Chen is the biggest winner — a somewhat fitting result given her bad beat earlier in the day. She's collected TWD 700,000 (~USD 22,436) in bounties, plus a cash of TWD 37,700 (~USD 1,208), bringing her total score to TWD 737,700 (~USD 23,644). Other big bounty hauls include Hao Shen with TWD 600,000 (~USD 19,231) and Robert Kiss with TWD 340,000 (~USD 10,897).
