APT CHAMPIONSHIP 2025 SCHEDULE| OFFICIAL RESULTS | PLAYER LISTS | IMAGES | WINNERS

TAIPEI, TAIWAN, November 23, 2025– Day 10 of the APT Championship 2025 arrived with anticipation at its peak, as the festival moved onto the eve of the highly awaited APTC Main Event. With players across Red Space gearing up for the biggest tournament of the series, the atmosphere shifted into full championship mode. Adding to the build-up, APT also staged the largest satellite event ever held in Asia, giving a record-breaking field one final shot at securing their seat for tomorrow’s Main Event.

The spotlight today also fell on the conclusion of the #1007 [Event 7] Super High Roller Championship, which wrapped up after three days of elite-level play to crown its newest title-holder. At the same time, the festival saw the start of the #1010 [Event 10] Superstar Championship — the highest buy-in tournament ever staged in the APT New Era.

With the Main Event just hours away, Day 10 marked a turning point in the Championship. Read on for the full breakdown of today’s highlights and standout performances.

A Poker Storm Brewing

The Super High Roller Championship came to a close on Day 10, and it was Roman Hrabec of the Czech Republic who completed a wire-to-wire victory to claim the title. Hrabec finished as the chip leader at the end of every day of play before sealing the win to take home one of the most prestigious trophies of the series.

Meanwhile, the Superstar Championship made its long-awaited debut as the highest buy-in event ever held in the APT New Era, drawing many of the biggest names in attendance. Among those who navigated the pressure and survived to the Final Day were chipleader Calvin Sungwon Lee, Punnat Punsri, and Jun Obara.

The Step 2 Mega Satellite to the APTC Main Event delivered one of the most astonishing moments of the festival, turning what was expected to be a straightforward qualifier into a headline story of its own. The TWD 53,000 satellite drew an incredible 399 entries, pushing the prize pool to TWD 18,271,008 (USD 585,610) and awarding 58 seats to tomorrow’s Main Event, with one additional player receiving TWD 233,008 in cash.

To put it simply, more than half a million dollars in prizes were generated from a single satellite, a number rarely seen anywhere in the region, and bigger than some of the Main Events in our early years.

The result set a new benchmark for the Asian Poker Tour, becoming the richest satellite ever held in Asia, and breaking APT records for both field size and prize pool. While it may also stand as the largest live satellite ever run in the region, its scale alone places it in a category of its own. No previous qualifier in APT history has come close to matching these numbers.

APT Media Coordinator Matthew Ooi also profiled former APT Main Event champion Punnat Punsri on the eve of the APTC Main Event, capturing his mindset ahead of the biggest tournament of the series. The Thai pro reflected on the challenge of joining the Main Event, his own methods of preparation, as well as the progress of the Asian Poker Tour and the Thai poker community.
