Cry Me A River - Omaha

This game is a heart-breaking Triple Board variant of Omaha where each player is dealt four or five cards, depending on the format of the event and there will be three boards of community cards for players to make their best five-card hands from. However, after bringing the river, the dealer will muck at least one of the boards.

• This variant can also be played as "Ultimate Hi-Lo" where the highest high hand and the lowest low hand from the board(s) split the pot.

How it’s Dealt:

Pre-flop: At the start of each hand, players are dealt their hole-cards immediately followed by a round of betting.

The Flop: After the pre-flop action is complete, the dealer will burn a single card and then deal a standard three-card flop, followed immediately by another standard three-card flop underneath, followed by a third and final three-card flop underneath that forming the start of three separate boards.

The Turn: Once betting on the flop is complete, the dealer will burn a single card and deal a turn card for the top board, a turn card for the middle board, and a turn card for the bottom board.

The River: When betting action is completed for the turn, the dealer will burn a single card and deal a river card for the top board, a river card for the middle board, and a river card for the bottom board. The twist of this game is that the board(s) with the lowest rank of card (from 2-A) are killed - taken out of play.

• 2 boards can be killed/taken out of play if 2 river cards end up having the lowest cards have the same value.
• If all 3 river cards end up having the same value, only the one with the highest suit will remain.
• The order of suits from lowest to highest are: Clubs, Diamonds, Hearts, and Spades.

The Showdown:

If two boards remain, the highest hands from each of the boards will split the pot. If there is only one board - there is only one winner.

In the event of two or more players having the same hands, the pot will be split accordingly. In the event of an odd chip during the split, it is awarded to the hand that wins the top board. In the event of an odd chip during the split of the pot for either individual board, it is awarded to the first active player immediately clockwise from the button.

A player can “Scoop” if they have the best five-card poker hands for both boards.
