Ching Ping Yu opened to 600 from early position and was called by Ming Dong on the button, Yang Zhou in the small blind, and Rishi Mirpuri in the big blind for a four-way pot.

Action checked through on the Q 4 8 flop and it was checked to Yu, who bet 1,000 on the 4 turn. Only Zhou called.

Neither player put in a bet on the T river and Yu showed J T for a rivered pair of tens. Zhou couldn't beat it and mucked to send the pot Yu's way.

The field is now up to 44 players as the first break of the day approaches, with no eliminations thus far.

Guangmang Huang

Gregoire Pierre Hubert Main De Boissiere opened to 600 from under the gun and was called by Zixu Wang in the hijack. Guangmang Huang then squeezed to 2,200 from the cutoff and just behind him, Shoya Honda four-bet to 5,700. De Boissiere and Wang got out of the way, but Huang called for a bloated heads-up pot.

Huang check-called a 2,200 bet from Honda on the Q 6 3 flop and a 6,500 barrel from Honda on the 9 turn. Both players then checked down on the 9 river and Huang tabled K K .

Honda couldn't beat Cowboys and mucked, conceding the large pot to Huang.

Hiroo Suzuki

Action folded to Yuhao Zhou on the button, who made it 500 to play and was looked up by Haidi Feng in the small blind. Hiroo Suzuki, sat in the big blind, then three-bet to 2,000.

Zhou made the call and Feng got out of the way.

The dealer fanned out the flop of 6 Q J and the action went check-check for the players to see the T peel off on the turn. Suzuki led out for 2,000 and Zhou made the call.

On the J river, Suzuki fired off a river bet of 5,000. Zhou thought for a while before he mucked his cards and sent the pot to Suzuki with no showdown.

Fuyu Yang

Fuyu Yang made it 300 to play from late position and got calls from Guillaume Burette in the hijack, Qian Xuan on the button, Akira Ide in the small blind, and Michael Wood in the big blind.

The flop came 6 Q 3 and it was checked to Yang, who continued for 800. Burette & Ide called, and the other players folded.

The turn brought the 5 , and Ide checked to Yang, who fired out a second barrel of 2,800. Burette made the call, and Ide now got out of the way.

The dealer peeled off the 7 as the river and Yang slowed down and checked to Burette, who after a short tank, bet out for 4,800. Yang went into the tank briefly before he made the call and tabled 6 3 for a flopped two pair and had picked off Burette's bluff with K 9 , scooping the healthy early pot.

Guangmang Huang opened to 300 from the cutoff and was called by Gu Jiajun in the small blind and Junfeng Zou in the big blind for a three-way pot.

Action checked through on the Q J 4 flop an Jiajun led out for 300 on the 9 turn. Zou folded, but Huang called.

The 3 completed the board and Jiajun bet 500. Huang cut out a raise to 2,500 and placed it into the middle, which got a quick fold from Jiajun and sent Huang a nice pot early in the day.

Akira Ide

It's 'Shuffle Up & Deal' time for Flight B of the APT Jeju 2026 Main Event. Cards are in the air and play is underway.

The KRW 2,700,000 (~USD 1,850) buy-in APT Jeju Main Event continues today with Flight B, giving players another opportunity to secure their place in Day 2 in the series' premiere tournament.

Yesterday, Flight A drew 297 entries, with 96 players bagging up chips at the end of the day. China's Xiubo Li emerged as the overall chip leader with 381,000, followed by Dmitrii Belikov with 306,100 and Timothy Chung with 300,900. Chung's run was particularly notable after he dropped to just 33,500 chips early in the day before mounting a comeback to finish with a podium spot.

The opening flight also saw several familiar faces advance, including Lee Wee Liew, who returned to the tables shortly after winning the APT Jeju National Cup for KRW 70,334,000 (~USD 51,900). Fan favorite Ren Lin also made it through with 125,400 after firing multiple bullets and will be looking to continue to recent success in APT events, which includes victories in both the Superstar Challenge and Super High Roller at the Jeju Classic earlier this year.

Flight B gets underway at 11:00 a.m. and, as with all the starting flights, players will begin with 40,000 in chips. Unlike Flight A, however, Flight B features 45-minute levels until Level 7, at which point they will revert to 60 minutes each. Play will conclude after Level 10, with players receiving 15-minute breaks after every two levels. No dinner break is scheduled for Flight B.
