Another two-day High Roller event ends today. While not as large as its predecessor before this, the winner will still walk away with a hefty KRW 174,770,000 (~USD 122,644) payday. Who came out as the winner? Find out by reading our highlights of the event below.

Mao Converts Chip Lead into Fifth Title in Event #52: High Roller
Mao showed a complete performance while taking down his fifth APT title
After an exciting Day 1, Event #52: High Roller returned for its final day with Renji Mao firmly in control—and the Chinese pro made no mistake in closing it out. Having led the field overnight with 1,058,000 chips, Mao carried that lead through to capture his fifth APT title.
The WSOP bracelet winner, who boasts over USD 4.3 million in live tournament earnings, topped the 174-entry field to secure the KRW 174,770,000 (~USD 122,644) first-place prize. Mao’s win capped a dominant two-day performance.
Second place went to Ryuta Nakai of Japan, who earned KRW 118,390,000 (~USD 83,080). The Japanese pro, with over USD 2 million in live earnings, was chasing his first APT title but once again fell just short.
Nevan Chang of Taiwan completed the podium in third place, collecting KRW 78,930,000 (~USD 55,388). The Natural8 ambassador added yet another final table appearance to his series.

Weng Secures Third Title in Event #61: NL Hold’em – 1 Re-Entry
Weng brings home her third APT title
Chien Chih Weng continued her strong run on the APT by capturing her third APT title in Event #61: NL Hold’em – 1 Re-Entry. The Taiwanese pro topped a sizeable 224-entry field to claim the KRW 23,413,225 (~USD 16,429) first-place prize.
Second place went to Haibo Yang of China, who earned KRW 15,790,000 (~USD 11,080). Zhuoqun Zhang, also representing China, completed the podium in third place, collecting KRW 11,130,000 (~USD 7,810) to round out the top three.

Watanabe Claims Second Heads-Up Crown in Event #62: NL - Hold'em - Heads Up
Watanabe takes down his second heads up title
Hajime Watanabe reaffirmed his prowess in heads up poker by capturing his second APT title in the heads-up format with victory in Event #62: NL Hold’em – Heads Up (32 Cap). Played as a single-elimination tournament with each match decided by a best-of-three series, the Japanese pro navigated the bracket to secure the KRW 16,177,600 (~USD 11,352) first-place prize, adding to his previous heads-up triumph at APT Manila Classic 2025.
Second place went to Tatsumi Iwasaki of Japan, who earned KRW 9,800,000 (~USD 6,877). Chin Hei Chan of Hong Kong and Jianfeng Sun of China were eliminated in the semi-finals, collecting KRW 3,600,000 (~USD 2,526).

Johnson Juanda continued to demonstrate his enduring class by capturing his third APT title in Event #63: Turbo – High Roller. The poker veteran, who boasts over USD 26 million in live tournament earnings, topped a 39-entry field to secure the KRW 24,942,000 (~USD 17,504) first-place prize to go along with his other cash this series in the APT Super High Roller.
Second place went to Goh Iwamoto of Japan, who earned KRW 17,180,000 (~USD 12,056). Wai Ching Chiang of Hong Kong completed the podium in third place, collecting KRW 10,950,000 (~USD 7,684) to round out the top three.

Second place went to Emmanouil Chalkiotis of Greece, who earned KRW 10,580,000 (~USD 7,424) after another deep run in a mixed-game event. Hideki Nakamura of Japan completed the podium in third place, collecting KRW 6,740,000 (~USD 4,731) to round out the top three.

The Sun Run continues in Jeju
Yue Sun continued her remarkable run in women’s events by capturing her fourth APT title in Event #66: Women’s Event. Sun, already a three-time Women’s Event winner, topped a 41-entry field to secure the KRW 5,720,656 (~USD 4,014) first-place prize.
Second place went to Saki Hayashi of Japan, who earned KRW 3,950,000 (~USD 2,771) after a strong run. Wenyao Zhang of China completed the podium in third place, collecting KRW 2,520,000 (~USD 1,768) to round out another competitive women’s contest.

Tomoharu Hikino claimed a first career victory by securing his first APT title in Event #67: NL Hold’em – Freezeout. The Japanese amateur topped a 141-entry field in the single-entry format to collect the KRW 22,485,804 (~USD 15,778) first-place prize.
Second place went to Fen Mai of Hong Kong, who earned KRW 15,260,000 (~USD 10,708) after a strong run through the sizeable field. Japan’s Tetsuro Tomita completed the podium in third place, collecting KRW 10,060,000 (~USD 7,059) to round out the top three.
