Both players checked. Afraid to slip on the wet board, action went check, check once again when the K dropped on the turn.

Fritz, however, finally made a move on the J river with a 6,500 bet. Cheong, stayed still for a bit, then threw in a chip.

Fritz showed 6 3 for a small four-card flush prompting Cheong to throw his hand to the muck pile.

Toby Joyce

Toby Joyce opened from middle position for 2,500 before calling cutoff Nevan Chang's three-bet to 8,500.

Both checked the J T 2 flop to the K turn, where Joyce check-called Chang's 15,000 bet.

Joyce checked the 5 river, and Chang quickly checked behind, with Joyce turning over K J for two pair, which was good for the pot.

Fendy Kosasih

Scott Margereson opened to 2,500 in early position and Manuel Fritz called in the small blind. Fendy Kosasih, in the big blind, went beyond and made it 15,000.

Without hesitation Margereson called. Fritz, however, decided to get out of the way.

The dealer flopped T 7 8 and both players checked the monochromatic board.

The turn produced a J and after action was passed to him, Margereson added another 11,000 to the pot. Kosasih called, leading them to the river.

It dropped A . Kosasih checked once again, triggering Mergereson to fatten the pot further with a 41,000 bet. The big blind player went into the tank needing to burn a time card to think things through.

He made the call. Margereson tabled 5 5 . Kosasih then turned over A Q for a pair on the river. After seeing the winning hand, Fritz commented, "I folded A Q . That would have been fun."

Rudy Edenata

Rudy Edenata limped from the small blind before calling Fabian Gumz's raise to 5,000 from the big.

Edenata check-called Gumz's 2,500 bet on the 2 2 J flop, but check-folded when Gumz upped it to 11,500 on the 5 turn.

The next hand saw Edenata raise to 2,500 from the button and Christian Harder defend his big blind.

Both checked the 7 9 J flop to the 9 turn, where a bet of 6,000 from Edenata was enough to take it down.

Zhouqun Zhang

Zhouqun Zhang in the small blind, and Sean Ooi on the button, had already built a pot of 11,000 on the 3 3 A flop when the dealer peeled another A turn.

Zhang checked the action to Ooi, who over bet to 13,000. Zhang quickly glanced at his opponent and called.

On the river Q , Zhang thought for a moment before deciding to check. Ooi fired 30,000 sending the small blind player to the tank.

Zhang glanced at Ooi and the board. Needing to burn a time card, he took his time to decide on his action, ultimately throwing a chip in.

Ooi tabled A 4 prompting Zhang to throw his hand in the muck.

Manuel Fritz

Cutoff Manuel Fritz raised to 2,500 and big blind Joseph Cheong defended.

The dealer fanned the A 2 6 flop and Cheong check-called Fritz's 1,500 continuation-bet.

Cheong checked once more on the J turn with the Austrian checking behind, taking them to the K river, where Cheong led for 10,000.

Fritz didn't take too long before tossing in the call, only to muck when Cheong flicked over A Q for top pair.

Rudy Edenata Former APT High Roller Champion

Rudy Edenata made history in February 2026, becoming the first Indonesian player to win an APT Mega Lion title when he claimed the APT High Roller at APT Jeju. Now, back on the idyllic island, Edenata is once again hunting for another lion to add to his pride.

At the time of his breakthrough victory, Edenata was still a relative newcomer to the game. “I’ve only been playing poker for six months. Mostly tournaments. I rarely play cash games. Since I started playing tournaments six months ago, this trophy means a lot to me. It gives me more confidence for my next tournament. I want to study more and keep playing,” he said after his win.

He followed that first major breakthrough with a clear determination to keep learning and improving. Reflecting on the significance of the victory, he added, “I feel very happy because this is my first big tournament. I have about four trophies, but they’re from small events. This is the biggest event I’ve ever played.”

Rudy Edenata

He has certainly backed those words up. Since then, Edenata has established himself as a regular presence on final tables across Asia’s poker circuit, collecting trophies and steadily building a name for himself along the way.

His rise has been steep, to say the least. Once a relative newcomer to the live poker scene, Edenata’s rapid ascent has seen him shed the “newbie” tag and emerge as one of Indonesia’s most accomplished tournament players.

He has continued to make deep runs across the region, adding numerous titles and final-table finishes to his résumé. His live tournament earnings have now climbed to $821,733, placing him fourth on Indonesia’s all-time money list.

And while his journey is far from over, Edenata has come a long way from the player who arrived in Jeju with just six months of tournament experience and a handful of small-event trophies.

Now, he is back where his rise to prominence began - with another APT lion in his sights.

Yuhan Liu raised to 2,500 from under the gun and Punnat Punsri made the sole call from the big blind.

Punsri check-called Liu's 2,500 continuation-bet following the 7 7 8 flop, before both checked the 4 turn to the 4 river. Punsri placed a 25,000-chip bet in the middle and took down the pot.

A couple of hands later, Punsri opened from the button to 2,500 and big blind Toby Joyce called, before check-folding to Punsri's 2,000 bet on the A 2 7 flop.

Punsri then opened once more, this time from the cutoff, and found two callers in button Liu and big blind Daniel Neilson.

The entire 3 Q Q T 2 runout was checked through, with Neilson flicking over 6 2 , seemingly good for the pot.
