Motokatsu Uhara

Hand 219: In the first hand back from the break, Motokatsu Uhara jammed for 1,100,000 on the button and Tarun Guwalani asked for a count from the small blind, holding K J . Guwalani folded and Ryan Plant snap called from the big blind. Plant and Uhara had near matching stack sizes but Plant was just covered by Uhara.

Motokatsu Uhara: T T

Ryan Plant: A J

Uhara held on the 5 5 9 flop.

A K turn was also good for Uhara, but the A river saw Plant take the pot, leaving Uhara with just 70,000 to play with.

Hand 220: In the next hand Uhara was dealt A 6 and when action folded to him in the cutoff, he moved all in.

Tarun Guwalani raised to 250,000 on the button and Maxim Sorokin called from the big blind.

The players went three-ways to the 3 8 J flop, and Sorokin checked. Guwalani bet 280,000 and Sorokin made another call to see the 8 turn.

Guwalani fired 450,000 into the pot after Sorokin tapped the table, and Sorokin paid to see the 7 river.

Both checked to showdown, with all three players flipping their hands.

Motokatsu Uhara: A 6

Maxim Sorokin: J T

Tarun Guwalani: K K

Uhara got to finally see his fate when the non-all-in players ended their battle, and he was behind to both opponents. Guwalani took down the pot with his pocket kings, and Sorokin took a huge tumble in chips from the hand.
