Shintaro Sato
Yixi Tang was just put to the ultimate test by Shintaro Sato, and passed with flying colors.
There were around 300,000 already in the pot on a 2 J 6 J board, where Tang bet 125,000 from the cutoff. Sato then min-raised to 250,000, before Tang three-bet to 500,000. Sato used some extra time before he four-bet shoved, and a little while longer, Tang called off his remaining stack of around 700,000.
Yixi Tang: K J
Shintaro Sato: 3 3
Tang was in the lead with his trips and just needed to fade a three on the river to double up. Sato didn't find the two-outer as the Q rolled off, meaning he had to cough up a chunk of chips over to Tang.
