Shota Kashiyama

In a single-raised flop to the A Q 6 flop, Horace Leung checked and then called a bet of 13,000 by Shota Kashiyama in the big blind. Both checked the 2 on the turn and the 7 river for Leung to briefly flash his cards before sending them into the muck when the table big stack flipped over his T T for a pair of tens.

Shota Nakanishi

Quang Dinh Do raised to 12,000 from the cutoff and was called by Shota Nakanishi in the big blind for a heads-up pot.

Nakanishi checked to Do, who bet 10,000 on the T 8 8 flop. Nakanishi then check-raised to 30,000 and Do called.

Do called a 42,000 barrel from Nakanishi on the A turn, but laid his hand down after Nakanishi bet 122,500 (leaving himself just 500 behind) on the 7 river.

According to the tournament screens, there are 28 players out of 38 entries remaining.

Among those to have entered recently were Japan's Yuya Arito and Pongsirath Tangcharakul from Thailand as well as Toru Wakamatsu on his second bullet.

Arito squeezed to 42,000 and then folded when Mingzhe Zhou jammed for 364,500 to get shown the A K .

Moments later, Wing Po Liu three-bet to 56,000 and called all-in when Yi Cheng Lo jammed with the covering stack.

The 7 6 4 5 8 runout brought a straight on the board for the chop.

Quang Dinh Do raised to 12,000 and had two callers in Wing Po Liu and Kyung Min Lee. They checked the K K 7 flop to the Q turn, on which only Lee check-called Do's bet of 25,000.

No betting action followed on the 7 river and Lee won the pot with the 8 7 for sevens full of kings.

However, all the profit vanished in the next hand against Shota Nakanishi when the latter's J J earned 40,000 on the turn and no more chips on the river of a A 8 3 2 5 runout.

Hon Cheong Lee opened to 12,000 on the button and Christopher Park defended his big blind.

Park check-called a 7,000 bet from Lee on the 2 7 K flop, but check-folded after Lee overbet the pot for 60,000 on the 4 turn.

Despite the small hit, Park currenty holds a substantial chip lead with approximately 750,000.

Christopher Park

The field was reduced in a hurry when Martin Sedlak and Rudy Halim vanished on table one with the chips pivoting to Christopher Park, who leaped into the top spot.

Park then took on recent re-entry Hon Cheong Lee who check-called the A K 4 flop for 17,000.

Both checked the 6 turn and J river to see Lee prevail with K Q for a pair of kings.

One table over, Daniel Neilson was all-in for one blind against Kyung Min Lee preflop.

The J J 2 6 3 board ended the first bullet of Neilson and there are 26 players out of 36 entries remaining.

Yi Cheng Lo

The flop showed Q 9 3 and Shota Nakanishi bet 20,000 on the button. Wing Po Liu called in the small blind and Yi Cheng Lo did so in the cutoff.

No more betting action followed on the 7 turn and 2 river and Lo won the pot with the Q J for the top pair.

Mingzhe Zhou opened to 13,000 from middle position and was called by Aleksei Istomin in the small blind. Toru Wakamatsu then squeezed to 40,000 from the big blind. Zhou called and Istomin folded.

Zhou called a 20,000 bet from Wakamatsu on the 2 3 8 flop, but then shoved after Wakamatsu bet 55,000 on the T turn.

Wakamatsu folded and Zhou showed A Q for just ace-high before collecting the pot.

Wakamatsu was eliminated shortly after the hand.

Wengang Wang

On a three-way turn of A T 9 3 , the action was on Wengang Wang in the small blind, and he bet 25,000. Konosuke Nakajima in the big blind folded and Hiroyuki Noda on the button, called.

Wang bet another 25,000 on the Q river and Noda folded.

Soon after, the same table lost Hon Cheong Lee while Chin Wei "Webster" Lim joined one table over.

According to the screens, there are now 27 players out of 31 entries remaining and the only casualty to have re-entered is Wengang Wang. New in the mix with a fresh stack are Mingzhe Zhou, Toru Wakamatsu and Chih-Wei Fan.

It was Fan who opened to 10,000 on the new table four and he then folded to a shove by Jeremy Chan.

"Bad start," Fan said as he mucked his 2 2 face up.
