The Asian Poker Tour returns to South Korea with APT Incheon 2025, set to run from August 1 to 10 at the luxurious Paradise City resort in partnership with Paradise Group. Following the tour’s record-setting Taipei stop, APT Incheon brings its own distinctive flair to the calendar, offering a 96-event schedule (including satellites) and total prize pool guarantees exceeding KRW 3.4 billion (~USD 2.38 million).
A curated mix of flagship events, high rollers, and mixed game formats await players at this world-class venue, located just minutes from Incheon International Airport.
In addition to the prize pools on offer, APT Incheon 2025 will also be awarding seven coveted seats to the APT Championship (APTC) Main Event, the season-ending showpiece taking place from November 14–30, 2025 in Taipei. The APTC Main Event will feature the tour’s largest-ever guarantee: USD 5 million.
These seats will go to the winners and top finishers of the following events:
- APT Main Event Champion
- APT Super High Roller Champion
- APT High Roller Champion
- Superstar Challenge Champion
- Zodiac Classic Champion
- 2nd and 3rd Place Finishers in the Main Event
Each winner will receive a TWD 350,000 (~USD 10,700) buy-in seat to the APTC Main Event.

“I want to make this one of my memories from now on, and keep going,” said the soft-spoken Japanese champion. “I want to be another champion”, hinting towards the APTC Main Event which Takasugi won a seat for as the Main Event Champion. He continued, “To the people who watched the stream and cheered me on—thank you,” he said. “I won the APT Taipei 2025 Main Event!”
Now, with his sights set on the APTC this November, Takasugi hopes to channel that same energy and support on an even grander stage. As he prepares for the next chapter of his journey, one thing is clear: Akira is not done chasing greatness.

For Vietnam’s Nguyen Trung Quan, lifting the High Roller trophy at APT Taipei 2025 was a deeply personal triumph—one fueled by the presence and support of those closest to him.

“Thank you to my family and friends who have been present with me for these 10 days, and for their unwavering support throughout my whole journey to the point I became champion,” he shared.
Even as the final stages of the tournament tested his nerves, it was that support that kept him grounded.
“I got nervous when my opponent started doubling up, but knowing I have my family’s support, I just focused on my game,” he said.
Now, with a seat secured to the APTC Main Event this November, Quan is more determined than ever to continue his run of success.
“I will join every APT in Taiwan,” he added, reaffirming his commitment to the tour that has become a defining part of his journey.
