MANILA, PHILIPPINES, February 11, 2025– Serbia’s Andrija Robovic secured his second APT title in Event #32: High Roller – Ultra Stack, marking his biggest career cash and pushing his total live earnings beyond USD 300,000. Robovic battled through a stacked field of 122 entries over two play days to claim the PHP 3,181,960 (~USD 54,093) top prize.

The Philippines’ Lester Edoc, second on his country's all-time money list, came agonisingly close to another major title, finishing as the runner-up for PHP 2,150,000 (~USD 36,550). Meanwhile, fellow Filipino James Mendoza, who entered the final day as the chip leader, rounded out the podium, taking third place for PHP 1,398,000 (~USD 23,766).

Meanwhile, the United Kingdom's Scott Margereson added another final table appearance to his series after the APT Super High Roller event yesterday, finishing seventh.

China’s Yepeng Ni celebrated a breakthrough victory, securing his first APT title and career-best cash in Event #40: NL Hold'em. Ni triumphed over a field of 139 entries to claim the PHP 865,880 (~USD 14,710) top prize. The event set in-country records for prize pool and first-place prize.

Thailand’s Pawanat Inthuyos took home PHP 587,000 (~USD 9,979) as the runner-up. while South Korea’s Jeong Yeol Yu rounded out the podium taking third place for PHP 387,000 (~USD 6,579).

Taiwan’s Yu Tang Wang continued his dominance in mixed games that started since APT Taipei Poker Classic 2024, capturing his ninth APT title—and his eighth in a mixed game format in Event #41: 5 Card Draw Masters. Wang outlasted a field of 20 entries to claim the top prize of PHP 435,800 (~USD 7,409).

The United Kingdom’s Craig Anthony Cooper put up a strong fight but settled for second place, taking home PHP 290,000 (~USD 4,930). Taiwan’s Li Ta Hsu, another mixed games expert, rounded out the podium with a third-place finish, earning PHP 187,000 (~USD 3,179).

This victory also propelled his career live earnings past USD 600,000. The tournament set new in-country records for entries (53), prize pool, and first-place prize.

Germany’s Kilian Konrad Kramer put up a valiant effort but ultimately settled for second place, taking home PHP 3,125,000 (~USD 53,125). Meanwhile, Emilien Pitavy from French Polynesia secured third-place, pocketing PHP 1,992,000 (~USD 33,864).

Thailand’s Pussacha Nonsing was Nguyen’s heads up opponent, but ultimately settled for PHP 108,000 (~USD 1,836) in second place, while her compatriot Wisinee Tanpichai rounded out the podium, taking home PHP 69,000 (~USD 1,173).

Quiambao claims his first APT title and trophy after a three-way deal was struck

Asian poker circuit regular Cezar Ii Quiambao from the Philippines added another achievement to growing list of poker achievements, securing the trophy and PHP 500,000 (~USD 8,500) in Event #45: NL Hold'em. The tournament drew a record-breaking field of 184 entries (147 unique) for the event, and after a hard-fought day of poker, the top three players left agreed to a three-way deal, with Quiambao claiming the title and the coveted trophy as a result of the deal for holding the chip lead at the time of the agreement.

Man Lok Cheung from Hong Kong, who held the second largest chipstack at end of day's play earned the largest payout at PHP 510,392 (~USD 8,676), while the short stack, Hou Sam Leong from Macau locked up PHP 479,800 (~USD 8,156).
