The second Flight of the ₫30,000,000 + 3,000,000 APT Main Event saw 141 entrants, (108 unique) fight it out on the felt for a place in Day 2. A total of 56 players made it through today to join the 66 who survived yesterday's Flight A.

After ten 45-minute levels, South Korean Seok Hyeon Park bagged an impressive 368,500 chips to come through the day over 100,000 chips clear of his closest rival. Park won some huge pots late on to push his stack clear of the rest and cement his place in Day 2.

Another notable to make it through was Samuel Lee Deering who bagged up 266,600 chips. Earlier in the day Deering stated that his target was to hit 250,000 by the end of the play and it seemed a farfetched idea when his stack dwindled to 15,000. Nevertheless, Deering play some brilliant poker and executed some well-timed bluffs to end the day second in chips.

Anaybayasgalan Sainjargal, who finished runner-up in the Super High Roller earlier this week, also made it through with a healthy stack of 172,700. Sainjargal lost a big pot against Paul Yugendra with a set of eights against Yugendra's set of jacks. However, that didn't deter the Mongolian and he finished the day strong and will come back for Day 2. Yugendra also brings a healthy stack into Day 2 as he accumulated 186,900 chips throughout the day to end fourth in Flight B.

APT Main Event winner Hai Nam Hoang qualified for Day 2 with a stack of 111,200. Hoang won the Main Event at APT Hanoi earlier this year for ₫2,794,200,000 ($119,029) and would surely love to add another Main Event title to his name.

Other notable names that made it through were Peter Kiem with 141,400, Vincent Wong with 114,700, Grant Gardner with 102,800, Jun Hao Wu with 90,700, and Shunsuke Tokoo with 65,800.

Join us tomorrow for Flight's C & D. Both Flights will have 30-minute levels with the first beginning at 12 pm local time. The second Flight of the day will start at 5:30 pm local time. However, once these flights are over players will still have a chance to register for the Main Event before Day 2 kicks off at 12 pm local time on Thursday 30th March.

Players are currently being dealt their last four hands of Flight B. Once these four hands have been played everybody remaining would have made it into Day 2 of the APT Main Event.

Will there be any late drama?

Earlier we saw French player Morvan Romain's pocket kings ahead in a 3-way all-in which held. This time, however, Romain was way behind and needed a lot of help from the poker gods.

On a board of A Q 9 2 the pot was around 15,000 and Romain had bet 12,000 only for Craig Daniel Jones to make a big raise to 56,000. Romain thought about his options and was speaking with Jones in the hand. Jones seemed calm and confident in his demeanor but that didn't stop Romain from shipping the rest of his stack in. Jones called off the extra chips and the cards were turned on their backs.

Romain had A 5 and was miles behind Craig's Q 9 who had flopped two pair.

The pot was worth 145,000 as we went to a river. If Jones could hold he would be one of the chip leaders and Romain would be out with just a few minutes until play concluded.

The river was heart-crushing for Jones. The 5 meant Romain had rivered a better two pair to scoop the giant pot.

Jones seat was noticeably absent as no doubt he was outside cooling off after that river card.

Samuel Lee Deering is our chip leader with a stack worth around 270,000.

Deering was down to his last 15,000 chips early on in the day but has dominated his table since and is the chip leader with 35 minutes left to play.

Level ten has just begun which is the last level of Flight B in the APT Main Event.

A total of 139 entries have been recorded so far with 60 still in contention to make Day 2. The current average stack is 92,667.

Hai Nam Hoang opened to 2,400 and Yilu Yuan 3-bet to 10,000. Hoang called and both players saw a flop of 5 3 7 .

Both players checked the flop and we saw a T fall on the turn.

Hoang bet 11,000 and Yuan called.

The river 7 paired the board which slowed down Hoang as he checked over to Yuan who took the opportunity to bet 16,000. Hoang threw in calling chips and was shown the A T by Yuan. Hoang mucked his hand.

Yuan wins another pot from the APT Main Event champion.

On a flop of T 9 3 three Vietnamese players tangled with Minh Hung Son Nguyen coming out on top.

Nguyen Tuan Anh had initially bet 4,400 only for Hong Quan Le to raise to 11,000. Nguyen wasn't done raising as he 3-bet the flop to 30,000 which made both remaining players fold.

APT Main Event champion Hai Nam Hoang had 3-bet shoved his stack covering the two other players in the hand. Chinese player Yilu Yuan put the rest of his 30,000 stack into the middle and Enkh-Orgil Battur folded.

Hoang had A K and was in great shape against Yuan's A T .

The flop was great for Yuan who flopped top pair on T 3 8 . The turn J improved his hand to a flush draw but also gave Hoang a gutshot to broadway.

The river 6 completed Yuan's flush and he doubled up in the penultimate level of Flight B.

On the very first hand back from the break Ukraine's Oleh Danilin shoved his last 8,500 chips into the middle and was called by Ken Okada.

Danilin was in a world of trouble and the flop of 6 8 T did him no favors. When the turn 5 fell Danilin was drawing dead. The meaningless 7 completed the board and Okada added some valuable chips to his stack,
