Ren Lin

Ren Lin had just seconds to spare joining the field this morning and made a swift jog to his seat.

In one of the first hands of the day, he already liked his chances as he looked at his hands, and asked the table "How many people to the money?". Chih Wei Fan, who was sat to his right joked back "14?..." before quickly correcting to "No, it's 11."

Lin was raised into and made a quick fold, but it wasn't long before he found himself in another hand.

Action folded around to Chih Wei Fan in the small blind, who open-jammed and covered Ren Lin's remaining ~200,000 stack.

Lin peeled his cards slowly, and used two time banks before calling off for his tournament life.

Ren Lin: 2 2

Chih Wei Fan: A K

When the cards were flipped, there was a race to the finish as Lin had a pair, but Fan held two overs.

Fan said "Good call!" and the dealer fanned the Q 4 A flop.

Fan took the lead as the ace came in the window, but the table let out a gasp as the 3 was peeled on the turn.

There was no coming back for Lin as the J completed the board and he was sent home within the first ten minutes of Day 2 action.
