The remaining 30 players are on their first 15-minute break.

Hong Long

Huang Hongbiao in the big blind and Hong Long had built a 100,000 pot when the dealer flopped J Q 4 . Hongbiao checked, triggering Long to fire out 25,000.

The big blind player spent a few seconds to consider before going beyond and making it 100,000. Long stared at his opponent before making the call.

When the A turn fell, Hongbiao tanked to the last second before announcing all-in, making Long sigh - mulling things over. Looking directly at Hongbiao, who looked away, Long slowly pushed his cards for a fold as his time ran out.

Aleksei Sei raised to 40,000 from under the gun and the action folded to cutoff Qun Dang, who three-bet jammed for 128,000. Sei thought on it for a little while, burning a time bank in the process, before eventually sticking in the call:

Sei would need some help from the dealer if he wanted to score the knockout, but the dealer had other plans.

The Q T 4 flop gave Dang the nut flush, drawing some noises from around the table and leaving Sei drawing dead.

Sei looked sick and paid his dues once the 4 8 runout completed the board, leaving him on fumes with around four big blinds.

Xin Lyu in middle position and Kuo Yuan Hung on the button had already built a pot of 150,000 when the dealer showed a flop of 8 8 4 .

Lyu fired 35,000 into the already huge pot but Hung had other things in mind and raised to 75,000 which was enough to win the pot.

Magnus Edengren

Peng Deng open-jammed his remaining 133,000 chips from middle position and Magnus Edengren made the sole call from the cutoff.

Magnus Edengren: A K

No six came to save Deng on the 4 Q A flop, and the Chinese player was eliminated once the 4 J runout completed the board.

Hong Long

Chong Zhang, in late position, open-shoved for 66,000 and got one caller in button Hong Long, who had him covered.

Hong Long: A K

Zhang was hoping to rebuild the stack he had lost, but Long had him dominated, making him get up on his feet. He couldn't get a break on the 3 3 J flop and no help came on the 7 turn and 4 river.

Zhang, disappointed, left the table and headed to the payout counter.

Zhiyi Wang

Button, and Day 1B chip leader Bin Li, opened to 35,000 before small blind Zhiyi Wang three-bet to 105,000. Zhentao Long also wanted to get involved, four-betting to 200,000 from the big blind.

Li got out of the way, and after a short while Wang moved all-in for 402,000. Long couldn't call quick enough and the two tabled their hands.

Wang was in trouble and needed one of the two remaining jacks to stay in the tournament.

Thankfully for him, the J in the window on the J 7 6 flop vaulted him into the lead with a set, and Long could only shake his head in disbelief.

No reprieve came on the 5 8 runout, and Long lost a huge chunk of his stack to Wang.

Han Yang opened to 25,000 in hijack and when action folded to him, Xin Lyu in the small blind shoved all-in for 150,000. Kevin Moon in the big blind, looked troubled and asked for a count. Needing more time, he burned a time card before ultimately folding. Yang called, putting Lyu at risk and taking both players to showdown.

Yang had Lyu dominated and kept the lead when the dealer spread K 9 3 . Lyu was calmly waiting for the board to finish as the dealer peeled a 4 turn. Getting what he had hoped for, Lyu smiled while Yang let out a groan of frustration as the 8 dropped on the river.

Lyu scooped the pot for a double while Yang counted his chips and asked Moon what he held. Moon said he had a pocket pair.

John Matsuda

Xiaoyu Ye raised to 35,000 from the cutoff before small blind, John Matsuda, three-bet to 82,000. Ye promptly four-bet jammed with a covering stack and Matsuda snapped it off.

Matsuda was in great shape for a double, and the 6 A K flop kept his ladies safe.

The Q turn improved him to a set, but it also gave Ye a broadway draw. The 4 river bricked, and Matsuda scored a huge boost to his stack at Ye's expense.

Berhanu Kassa open-shoved for 96,000 when action folded to him in cutoff. Chong Zhang, on the button, called, and after the blinds folded, both players tabled their cards with Kassa at risk.

Zhang was looking at a chance to eliminate another player when the flop came A J 5 . Kassa, leaning foward, was hoping one of his overcards would hit but with the flop, his outs increased with a possible straight draw.

The turn 2 was a brick but brought a wide smile spread across Kassa's face when the K fell on the river, completing his straight and leaving Zhang to try and rebuild his stack again.
