Robert Yamashita
Robert Yamashita and Xinyu Shu were staring at a complete board of 9 6 4 5 6 There was 17,000 in the pot beside it.
Shu fired a bet of 10,000 from under the gun. Yamashita took his coin card protector, flipped it and palmed the result on the back of his palm.
He then took the 10K and pushed it forward. Shu tabled A T for ace high while Yamashita showed 7 8 for a straight, going "Nuts!"
He saw me writing down the hand and Yifan Zheng remarked, you have to say he had the nuts. Yamashita added, "full house."
I retorted, "I'll say you said you had the nut full house, but showed a straight."
They laughed. Just as the chips were being shipped his way, I added, "The nuts would've been quads by the way."
"Good one!" someone said.
