Liqiang Gao

Liqiang Gao and Ohta Iori fattened the pot to 5,000 as they waited for the flop to be dealt. The dealer showed 8 Q K . Gao check-called Iori's 1,500 bet leading them to the turn.

Iori continued his aggression with 3,5000 after action passed to him. But Gao couldn't be shaken off and hung on.

Even a hefty bet of 12,000 from Iori couldn’t push Gao out of the pot. Visibly frustrated, Iori mucked his hand and Gao scooped the pot without having to show his hand.

Lifu Huang

Tomokatsu Kumano and Lifu Huang got into a preflop raising war that ended with Kumano all-in for a bit under 40,000 from the hijack against Huang, who had Kumano covered in the cutoff.

It was bad news for Kumano, as he found himself crushed against Huang's rockets.

The Q 8 5 6 A runout needlessly improved Huang to a set, and Kumano was sent to the rail.

Action folded around to the blinds, where Takuto Akizuki moved all-in for his last 10,400 from the small blind. Feng Sun called in the big blind and hands were revealed.

Akizuki had Sun dominated, and the 4 A 5 3 J runout kept Akizuki best with his queen-kicker to earn the double-up.

Meanwhile, Michel Molenaar, who placed runner-up in the Super High Roller event yesterday, took his seat with a fresh stack of 40,000.

A pot of 5,000 was in the middle of the table while four players waited for the flop - Takayuki Togashi in the small blind, Yunpeng Bai in the big, Xiaoyang Qian under the gun and Xiaohuang Chen in middle position.

The dealer finally fanned out 3 2 9 . After checks from the blinds, Qian led with 2,400 and got only one caller - Togashi.

The 3 turn fell and Togashi hung on after a 12,500 bet from Qian. Action slowed down with a check-check when the 6 river fell.

Togashi showed A 4 for a busted straight draw. Qian had to remind the dealer that he flopped a pair with his A 9 when he seemed confused as to who won.

Hiroki Ishii

A three-way pot of around 14,000 was already built by Naoki Naganuma in middle position, Hiroki Ishii in hijack, and Non Sirijan on the button.

Naganuma check-folded the 3 3 J flop after Ishii fired 4,500 but Sirijan called.

The turn 2 fell and this time Ishii checked to Sirijan who fired 10,000, sending Ishii to the tank. After a few seconds, Ishii called to see the 7 river.

He led out with 1,500, which earned an all-in shove from Sirijan for 25,000. He mucked his hand and conceded the pot to his opponent.

Keishi Miyakawa opened to 1,200 from the hijack and was called by Woo Hyon Shin in the big blind.

Shin check-called a 1,500 bet from Miyakawa on the 3 9 5 flop and then check-raised all-in for 17,000 after facing a 4,000 barrel from Miyakawa on the J turn. Miyakawa quickly called and a showdown was held.

Shin didn't believe Miyakawa and found himself drawing to five outs against top pair.

The Q river bricked out, and Miyakawa was sent the rest of Shin's chips.

Jun Il Hong

Kazushi Higashiura raised to 1,100 from early position and was called by Jun Il Hong in the hijack. Christian De Ocampo announced a three-bet to 3,500 on the button and both Higashiura and Hong called for an inflated three-way pot.

Action checked to De Ocampo, who continued for 6,000 on the 4 5 7 flop. Hong called and Higashiura got out of the way.

The 6 turn brought a four-liner to a straight on board and Hong announced he was all-in, sending De Ocampo into the tank.

De Ocampo eventually folded K K face up, and Hong collected the pot without showing.

Dongying Ling

Kyung Min Lee in middle position and Dongying Ling on the button, had built a pot of 12,000 when the dealer spread K 5 4 .

After action passed to him, Ling fired 2,100 which Lee called.

Lee checked the K turn and Ling made it 6,000 to go. Lee couldn't call and folded his hand conceding the pot to Ling.

Daijiro Fukuoka

Daijiro Fukuoka, under the gun, opened to 1,100 and Yosuke Kijima immediately to his left, three-bet to 4,000. After action folded around, Fukuoka called to see a flop.

The flop came 9 9 6 . After a check, Kijima continued with 5,900. Fukuoka called.

The A fell on the turn and action went check-check all the way to the 3 river.

Fukuoka turned over Q Q then chuckled to himself after seeing Kijima's K K .

Soichiro Maeda

Atsushi Miyakoshi opened to 1,100 on the button and Soichiro Maeda defended his big blind.

Both players checked on the 4 3 6 flop and Maeda checked again after the 4 paired the board on the turn.

Miyakoshi bet 900 and Maeda promptly stuck in a check-raise to 6,000. Miyakoshi slid his cards into the middle and Maeda collected the pot.
