Victor Chong looked down at his cards and raised to 6,000 from early position while telling Gregory Liow to stick around for the hand. APT host Elfin Lin was in the big blind and took a long look at her cards while deciding how to proceed. With Liow standing behind her, Lin finally moved all in for around 25,000, and Chong made the call.

Lin did have live cards, but the K 3 9 flop put Chong far ahead with top pair. The 4 9 runout confirmed Lin’s elimination.

"Why did you do that?" Liow asked again.

"Because you came over. I wanted to do it for you!" she replied. Liow does have a famous catchphrase of “Stay Loose, Play Seven Deuce,” so perhaps that was exactly what influenced Lin.
