JEJU, SOUTH KOREA, September 28, 2025– Thailand’s Suparerk Totsaponvisad captured the spotlight in Event #23: Single Day High Roller, topping a 65-entry field to claim the trophy and his largest-ever career score. The Thai professional, closing in on USD 200,000 in live earnings, added a defining cash to his résumé by banking KRW 81,860,000 (~USD 58,471) for the win.

The runner-up finish went to American pro Kaiwen Wei, who was making his debut on the APT circuit. Primarily active in the United States, Wei marked his first APT cash with an impressive second-place result, worth KRW 58,970,000 (~USD 42,121).

Belgium’s Thomas Boivin also made his first APT appearance in this event. A seasoned professional with over USD 12 million in live earnings and the number one spot on the Belgium All-Time Money List, Boivin added a third-place finish to his glittering record, taking home KRW 38,330,000 (~USD 27,379).

Adding to the storylines, Taiwan’s Poseidon Ho posted yet another deep run in fifth place, continuing what has already been an incredibly successful series for him.

Fang takes home a monster win in the Sunday Super Stack event

Taiwan’s Fang Kai Yang achieved the biggest score of his poker career in Event #21: Sunday Super Stack, outlasting a massive 359-entry field to secure his first APT title. Coming into the event with just USD 15,000 in total live earnings, Fang more than doubled that tally in one go, taking home KRW 28,715,744 (~USD 20,511) and along with his first major title in a live event.

The Sunday Super Stack has become a staple of APT festivals, and this edition was one for the record books — registering the highest number of entries ever for a Sunday Super Stack on South Korean soil.

China’s Chuyuan Peng finished runner-up, earning KRW 18,220,000 (~USD 13,014) for his strong showing, while fellow countryman Haohui Ma claimed third place with a payout of KRW 13,660,000 (~USD 9,757).

Tang's red-hot streak continues with his fourth APT title

Hong Kong’s Danny Tang continued his blistering run at APT Jeju 2025 by taking down Event #22: Omaha Masters – PL Omaha High, marking his second title in as many days and his fourth APT title overall. Fresh off winning Event #2: Superstar Challenge, the biggest buy-in of the festival, Tang backed it up with another dominant performance, this time in the Omaha Masters event.

The victory earned Tang KRW 19,994,000 (~USD 14,281) and further reinforced his status as one of Asia’s most accomplished players. With over USD 34.4 million in career tournament earnings, Tang also shows why he sits atop the Hong Kong All-Time Money list.

China’s Guangrui Meng settled for second place, claiming KRW 14,450,000 (~USD 10,321), while fellow countryman Zhihao Zhang completed the podium with a third-place finish worth KRW 9,210,000 (~USD 6,579).

Austria’s Hanh Tran captured his second APT title in Event #24: Limit – Triple Draw Mix, adding another mixed-game trophy to his résumé. The seasoned professional topped a 24-entry field to claim KRW 4,470,000 (~USD 3,193). Both of Tran’s APT victories have now come in mixed-game formats.

Once play reached three-handed, an ICM chop was agreed upon, with the top three competitors then battling for the trophy and an additional KRW 500,000. Tran eventually triumphed over Denis Nesterenko of Russia, who earned KRW 3,670,000 (~USD 2,621) for his runner-up finish, and China’s Quncheng Fang, who banked KRW 4,060,403 (~USD 2,900) under the deal.

Japan’s Katsunori Nakamura rounded out the payouts, finishing fourth for KRW 1,660,000 (~USD 1,186).

Japan’s Soichiro Okada enjoyed a dream debut at the APT, capturing his first live cash and first APT title in one go by taking down Event #26: Turbo – Double Stack. The Japanese amateur outlasted one of the bigger side event fields of the festival so far with 153 entries, converting the opportunity into a victory worth KRW 18,197,203 (~USD 12,998).

Runner-up honours went to the United Kingdom’s Rishi Mirpuri, who collected KRW 12,350,000 (~USD 8,821), while China’s Taimin Tian rounded out the podium with KRW 8,140,000 (~USD 5,814).
