*JEJU, SOUTH KOREA, October 1, 2026 – Day 7 of the APT Jeju 2026 festival (#APTJeju2026) proved to be an action-packed day with thirteen tournaments playing out at the tables of LES A Casino inside the Jeju Shinhwa World resort.
The Main Event captivated the spotlight, with the 198 returning Day 3 players out of the initial 1,375-entry field reduced to 47. Other marquee events saw 373 entries duke it out in Day 1 of the Zodiac Classic – Sponsored by Natural8, as well as the debut of the brand new KRW 15M (~USD 11,000) buy-in Single Day Super High Roller.
Other side event action featured the final day of the 191-entry KRW 5M High Roller, alongside ten additional side events including the KRW 600K NL - Hold’em, the KRW 1.5M Masters Fixed Limit Seven Card Stud, and the KRW 1.5M Women’s High Roller, plus an eclectic selection of Omaha, and Turbo Hold’em tournaments. Main Event Action
Just 198 of the 1,375-entry field returned for Day 3 of the KRW 2.7M (~USD 1,900) buy-in APT Main Event, all guaranteed at least a KRW 4,180,000 (~USD 3,120) min-cash from the KRW 3,207,600,000 (~USD 2,393,730) prize pool.
Before the action got underway, the first of the five USD 10,000 (~KRW 13.4M) seats to November’s USD 5 million guaranteed APT Championship Main Event on offer in the tournament was awarded via lucky draw, with the USA’s Kou Vang sitting in the hot seat and booking his ticket to Taipei.

Another seat will be awarded before the start of play on Day 4, with the remaining three going to the top three finishers.
Day 3 action resumed with 22 minutes remaining on the clock on level 18 and spanned over six full 60-minute levels, concluding with the elimination of China’s Zixiong Jiang in 48th place at the hands of Kim Wah Chiu, boosting the Singaporean into the tournament’s top ten chip counts.
Start-of-day chip leader Ma Kaihong put on a wire-to-wire performance to top the counts for the second consecutive day, concluding the action with a stack of 3,185,000 – 15 big blinds more than next closest rival Yi Heng Luo (2,730,000), with Weimin Chen (2,310,000) rounding out the top three with the top ten as follows:

Former APT Main Event champions Stephen Pang (83rd), Daisuke Ogita (118th), Rene von Reden (138th), and Abinhav Iyer (145th) all hit the rail as the blinds continued their inexorable climb, meaning that the one certainty whatever happens over the next two days is the crowning of a brand new APT Main Event champion.
None of Day 2’s returning other APT Big Three champions—Australia’s Daniel Neilson (113th), Vietnam's Trung Quan Nguyen (129th), and the USA's Stanley Weng (181st)—made it through to Day 3, leaving only inaugural APT Championship High Roller winner Toby Joyce in the running with a 700,000 stack.
Other notables to make the final 47 included the USA’s Christian Harder (1,420,000), India’s Rishi Mehra (1,335,000), the Netherland’s Joris Michl (11,215,000), Malaysia’s Sean Ooi (745,000), Germany’s Piet Pape (705,000), China’s Changliang Sun (480,000), and Japan’s Hiroyuki Noda (250,000), the latter of which will be returning as the shortest stack.
Day 4 resumes at 11:15am on Friday, October 2, with the tournament playing down to the Final Table.

Outside of the Main Event, the marquee action of the day belonged to the Event #63 Zodiac Classic – Sponsored by Natural8. A bumper field of 373 entries (273 unique) packed the tournament floor for the KRW 3.7M (~USD 2,700) buy-in event, easily surpassing the KRW 500M guarantee to create a hefty KRW 1,192,406,400 (~USD 889,855) prize pool.

After sixteen 40-minute levels of strategic battles at the felt, just 65 survivors bagged up for the Final Day. Setting the pace at the top of the overnight leaderboard is Japan’s Tetsuya Tsujisaka, who accumulated a commanding 806,000 in chips.
Hot on his heels are Hong Kong’s Chun Kit Kwan (562,000) and Malaysia’s Lee Wee Liew (555,000), while China’s Qingtian Qian (514,000) and Zhuoqun Zhang (499,500) round out a stacked top five.
Only 55 players will make the money, with a min-cash worth KRW 5,780,000 (~USD 4,310). Awaiting the eventual champion is the silver lion silhouette trophy, a coveted USD 10,000 seat to November's APT Championship Main Event, and the lion's share of the purse—a substantial KRW 228,656,400 (~USD 170,640) top prize.

The USA’s Stanley Weng captured the inaugural Single Day Super High Roller title
Making its high-stakes debut on the festival schedule, the elite Event #64 Single Day Super High Roller saw 11 entries (9 unique) battle it out for supremacy in the KRW 15M (~USD 11,000) buy-in tournament.
This high-stakes field generated a KRW 152,047,500 (~USD 113,470) prize pool, with only the top three places reaching the money with a KRW 72,977,500 (~USD 54,460) top prize awaiting the eventual champion.
It was APT Taipei 2024 High Roller champion Stanley Weng ultimately triumphing to further add to his tour accolades, claiming a KRW 72,977,500 (~USD 54,460) top prize after defeating Japan’s Ideta Koji heads-up, leaving the latter with KRW 48,650,000 (~USD 36,310) for second place, while Morocco's Chaoui Mehdi rounded out the payouts in third.
