Once the 46 players had taken their seats and unpacked their bags for the penultimate day of the APT Main Event, the random draw for another APT Championship 2026 Main Event ticket got underway, with the seat worth TWD 312,000 (~USD 10,000).

With six tables in play, it was Table 74 that was chosen, meaning Chun Shing Lau, Chia Lin Huang, Kuan Yu Chen, Kazuma Ishihara, Joris Michl, Sita Divari, Joshua McCully, and Ka Cheuk Koo all had a shot at the prize.

A hand of Super Hold’em was then dealt out, and after a slow runout, it was the Netherlands’ Michl who won the hand with top two pair, kings and tens, earning himself the ticket.

Michl’s luck ran out during the second level of the day, when he got it all in preflop with big slick but could not win the flip against his opponent’s pocket tens. Still, he walked away with TWD 285,500 (~USD 9,150) and a guaranteed seat in the APTC Main Event this November here in Taipei.

That means only six APTC Main Tickets are remaining, and these will be awarded to the top six finishers of the tournament.
