Level 1: Blinds 500 / 1K - Ante 1K

While there has been a sign-up for the VND 112,000,000 + 8,000,000 Super High Roller the tournament needs four players to get underway so the start time has been pushed back.

HANOI, Vietnam - With a guaranteed prize pool of VND2,000,000,000 (~US$86,000) the opening day of the Asian Poker Tour (APT) Super High Roller is indeed among the highlights in the vast event calendar for this series and it kicks off today (27th May) at exactly 1:30PM (UCT+7) at the Grand Loyal Poker Club here.

This two-day affair has a buy-in of VND120,000,000 (~US$5,100) with registration open well into the night (at the end of Level 10, or 8:55PM). The starting stack is 250,000 with 40 minute levels and the opening blinds at 500/1,000 (BBA 1,000). This event also plays as 8-max.

The last staging had the UK's Sam Lam coming out of nowhere to snare the title and the almost NT$4,000,000 (~US$130,000) top purse for only his second live cash.

Keep it here for updates on all the action!
