Iwasaki Tatsumi in hijack opened to 800 and his seatmate, Takashi Kawaguchi decided to three-bet him to 3,500. After action folded around Tatsumi called taking them to the flop.

Tatsumi led out to 5,000 on the K 8 6 flop but Kawaguchi went beyond and made it 10,000. Tatsumi called once again, refusing to be shaken off.

On the turn T , fireworks exploded as Tatsumi check-raised Kawaguchi all-in for 17,500 after the latter fired another 10,000. Kawaguchi, unfazed, snap-called.

Tatsumi had the best starting hand but Kawaguchi turned a set cracking his aces. The river 2 didn't offer any help sending Tatsumi to the rails.

Anqi Luo

The board of 3 5 6 3 J was fanned out across the felt and there was about 13,000 up for grabs sat in the middle.

Anqi Luo checked from the hijack and Takeomi Miyazawa fired out for 5,000 from the button. Luo then put in a check-raise to 15,000, which sent Miyazawa deep into the tank.

Miyazawa used two time banks before he tossed in the call and tabled K J for a rivered two pair which had Luo's 8 ,6 for a lower two pair crushed and Miyazawa was sent the pot.

Maxim Lykov

Maxim Lykov from early position opened to 800 and both Yasunori Takahashi on his left, as well as Tsan Wa Li in cutoff, joined him. Too crowded a party for him, button Hiromasa Syuto reraised to 3,500. Only Lykov called as Takahashi and Li bowed out.

Lykov check- raised Syuto all-in for 19,000 after the button player fired 4,000 on the 8 5 9 flop. Syuto called taking them to showdown.

Syuto was waiting for his nut flush draw to complete against Lykov's pockets. But the dealer peeled a 2 for the turn. He finally got what he was waiting for when the Q fell on the river completing his flush and giving him a double-up.

Tomoaki Shiwaku raised to 800 from under the gun and action folded to Zhiyuan Xu in the big blind, who made the call.

The flop came J 7 J and Xu check-called Shiwaku's 1,100 continuation bet for the players to see the 9 peel off on the turn.

The action went check-check, as it did on the 8 river with Xu tabling Q 7 for Jacks up; good for the pot when Shiwaku mucked his cards.

Burton Ng

Heads up to the turn of 8 7 5 2 with 10,000 sat in the pot.

Koichiro Ogawa checked from late position to Burton Ng in the cutoff, who fired out for 6,300 and got an insta-call from Ogawa.

The Q peeled off on the turn and it was rinse and repeat, Ogawa checked, Ng bet out for 7,000 and Ogawa instantly called only to instantly muck his cards on seeing Ng table K K and Ng was shipped the sizeable pot.

Sun Yunsheng made it 600 to play from the hijack and found a call from Makoto Yoshida on the button.

The dealer peeled off the flop of 8 Q J and Yunsheng checked to Yoshida, who fired off a bet of 1,100, which Yunsheng called.

The turn brought the 8 and Yunsheng check-called once more this time around for 2,200.

On the K river Yunsheng checked it to Yoshida for a third time who loaded up a river bet of 6,300,. Yunsheng didn't take long and tossed in the call. Yoshida tabled A 8 for turned trips and Yunsheng quickly sent his cards to the muck whilst the dealer sent the pot to Yoshida.

Runtian Zhang in middle position opened to 3,000 but Hazim Jasmani in cutoff three-bet to 9,100. Yunpeng Bai in the small blind called but the initial raiser had enough of the escalating heat and got out of the way even before the flop.

The dealer spread 7 9 8 . Bai led out with 4,500 which Jasmani called.

On the A turn. Bai shoved all-in for 14,000 and without hesitation, Jasmani called, taking them to showdown.

Both players held pocket pair with Jasmani in the lead with the ladies. Bai didn't get any help on the river 2 eliminating him from the tournament.

Johnni Nielsen

Hijack Johnni Nielsen and cutoff Katsuki Naoe had already bult a pot of 3,000 when the dealer fanned out 2 7 J .

Nielsen check-called Naoe's bet of 600 to see the turn, which fell 3 . The same thing happened after Naoe fired another 2,700.

On the river 4 and after another check, Naoe fattened the pot further with 6,100. Nielsen looked at his chips, sighed then picked out the amount needed for a call. After a few seconds of holding the chips, he threw it in.

Naoe turned over K Q for king-high. Then Nielsen showed his top pair with J 8

Tak Chai Pang in hijack opened to 600 and both Yongbin Wang to his left and big blind Yucheng Zhang called.

The flop came 3 A T and Pang continued with 900 after action passed to him. Wang hung on while Zhang figured he'd seen enough.

Both players checked the J turn and the 9 river. Pang turned over K J for a turned pair which was enough to take the pot down.
