Ryan Plant
Ryan Plant's big stack has been uprooted, with Wai Kiat Lee the beneficiary of a huge clash between the pair.
Plant opened the hijack to 80,000 and Lee three-bet to 225,000. Plant came back with a four-bet to 400,000, before Lee raised the stakes again with a five-bet to 575,000.
After using a time bank, Plant decided to put the rest of his stack in the middle, shoving for around 1,500,000. Lee couldn't call quickly enough.
Ryan Plant: A 9
Wai Kiat Lee: K K
Plant had gone out on a limb, but Lee had him in serious trouble and needed only to dodge an ace to take down the monster pot.
The 3 4 3 J K runout offered Plant no chance to take root, with Lee even improving to a full house on the river to send him to the rail.
Lee is now sitting behind one of the biggest stacks in the room, while Plant's tournament has officially been pruned.
