The final flight of the TWD 35,000 Mini Main Event Championship drew 310 entries (257 unique), packing into Red Space 多元商務空間 and battling it out at the tables over 22 20-minute levels.

After a relatively short bubble period in Flight D of the 2025 APTC Mini Main Event Championship play has concluded, after the bubble was burst with Hyunsik Jang being eliminated as the bubble boy and 44 players were left standing.

The remaining 44 players have now bagged up their chips to carry through to the final day starting tomorrow, November 27, and combine with the 183 players who have already survived one of the earlier flights.

It was China’s Yuan Lei who closed out the flight with the chip lead bagging an impressive 872,000. Hot on Lei’s heels was South Korea‘s Duhan Lee with 814,000 and rounding out the podium in third spot was Australia’s Loy Abdo with 759,000.

A host of APT regulars took their shot in the final turbo flight of the event in the hope of getting a stack through to the final day, and take a shot at the Exclusive APT Mini Main Event Championship Trophy along with their share of the massive prize pool on offer, but most fell by the wayside.

India’s Rishi Mehra sits in eighth spot with 494,000 and will be looking for a deep run to take his lifetime earnings close to the USD 500,000 milestone.

Natural8 Ambassador Taiwan’s Neven Chang is sitting in ninth spot with a healthy stack of 478,000 and a good shot at another APT title to take his lifetime earnings to over the USD 3.1m mark.

Hong Kong’s Dicky Tsang is sitting on 202,000 and just outside the top 20. Tsang was active throughout the day and picked up some nice chips when his ace-queen outdrew **Hao Shen**’s ace-king and when he cracked **Gerald Karlic**’s pocket aces with his queen-jack.

Other notables who made it to the final day include Filipino Czardy Rivera (334,000), recent National Cup runner-up from the Netherland’s Rob Hollink (226,000), Germany’s Stefan Bittger (186,000), India’s Akshay Nasa (150,000), and by the skin of his teeth the United Kingdom's Jun Li (47,000).

Bubble Burst

Level 22: Blinds 10K / 20K - Ante 20K

Yuan Lei moved all in from middle position, and he had the table covered. Action folded to Hyunsik Jang in the hijack, who made the call for his tournament life.

Hyunsik Jang: J J

Yuan Lei: 7 5

The flop came 7 A 4 and Jang was still alive but when the 7 peeled off on the turn he was in trouble and needed to hit a jack to stay alive.

The river brought the A , giving Lei a full house and Jang was sent home as the unfortunate bubble boy.

An Ace on the River for Jung Leaves Zheng on Fumes

Level 20: Blinds 6K / 12K - Ante 12K

Seungmook Jung.jpg Seungmook Jung Hits His Ace On The River

Yi Shun Zheng moved all in from under the gun for 124,000 and Seungmook Jung sat in the next seat, also moved all in for his last 85,000. The rest of the table got out of the way quickly.

Seungmook Jung: A K

Yi Shun Zheng: Q J

Things remained balanced on the 6 A J flop but when the J peeled off on the turn Jung was not a happy bunny!

However, as Mr Greenstein would say, Jung was happy to see the A on the river and was sent the pot for a double up leaving Zheng with less than three big blinds.

Rachburom Strikes Again

Chao Lin moved all in from middle position for 44,000 and action folded to Nirunrut Rachburom in the small blind who three-bet all in for 122,000. Yosuke Ujihara sat in the big blind squeezed his cards and snap-called and had Rachburom covered.

Chao Lin: A 5

Nirunrut Rachburom: A Q

Yosuke Ujihara: 8 8

A nice flop for Rachburom came of T Q 9 and she needed to dodge an eight or jack to stay alive and double up.

The turn of the 4 brought no additional worries for Rachburom and when the river bricked out with the 5 Lin was sent to the rail and Rachburom sent the healthy pot for a double up and more.

Nanthana Flops a Straight to Treble Up

posted by Myles Phago

Level 18: Blinds 4K / 8K - Ante 8K

Hikaru Hishinuma raised to 16,000 from middle position and Huan Chang sat in the hijack three-bet all in for 27,000.

Tharit Nanthana in the big blind put in his last 16,500 and Hishinuma called to put both players at risk.

Tharit Nanthana: 6 3

Huan Chang: A T

Hikaru Hishinuma: A Q

Chang was in trouble from the off but thinks looked very grim when the dealer rolled off the flop of 4 7 5 giving Nanthana a straight.

The 4 turn and K river changed nothing and Chang was sent to the rail and the pot sent to Nanthana for a treble up.

There was over 100,000 sat out in the middle and the full board read 7 A 7 T 7 and Mauel Blaschke had moved all in from the small blind for 148,000 and he had Shandy Wong sat on the button covered.

Wong was deep in the tank and used all her time banks before she made the call and tabled A T but was crushed by Blaschke and his Q 7 for rivered quads.
