While the Mini High Roller Championship field is stacked with an international roster of bracelet winners, APT champions and crushers with seven-figure total live earnings, there are those in the field who are emerging stars and ready to make their big break into the list of the big boy names.

Singapore's Eugene Zhou is one of those players. Zhou has 7 cashes in this series including two tiles from a Triple Draw Mix event from this series, where he won USD 3,906, and from the Teams Championship event last night where he paired with Malaysian's Ming Ken Thoo. Outside of the APT, Zhou has taken home eight trophies from other mid-stakes events from other poker festivals in Malaysia and Korea.

Zhou's most notable achievement was a runner-up finish in the 2024 WSOP Colossus Event where he came a spot away from winning a WSOP bracelet from a field of 19,303 players. He cashed USD 325,640 from that one memorable event and now he gets to play with the high rollers, slowly building his total live earnings to nearly USD 700,000.

Hong Kong's Wayne Lam came from playing mid-stakes events to taking a seat at the high roller tables after he took home USD 211,068 from his third place finish in the APT Main Event during APT Taipei 2025. His total live earnings has now grown to over USD 250,000 and looks to catapult that figure with high roller wins.

Malaysia's Juns Leong built his bankroll by topping events around Malaysia, including a runner-up finish in a Poker Dream Super High Roller event, where he banked a career best USD 155,180. Since then, Leong has tried his hand at bigger stakes, including Triton events and in this Mini High Roller.

Leong has yet to secure an APT title. His best APT result so far is a 5th place finish in the Sunday Super Stack during APT Taipei 2025.
