JEJU, SOUTH KOREA, October 3, 2025– The Single Day High Roller – Mystery Bounty was one of the most anticipated high roller events of APT Jeju 2025, drawing a formidable 141-entry field. With 23 players to be paid, the event offered not only one of the richest side event prize pools of the festival but also the added thrill of drawing bounties for each elimination at ITM.
China’s Jiabao Cai made his entrance into the poker scene in dramatic fashion, taking down the event for his first-ever live cash and APT title. The Chinese amateur outlasted a stacked field to claim a staggering KRW 96,608,000 (~USD 69,006) in payouts including KRW 45,000,000 (~USD 32,143) in bounties.
The finish came after an ICM deal was struck three-handed, leaving KRW 6,108,000 and the trophy to play for. Cai held his nerve and secured his victory.
Fellow Chinese amateur Sishu Peng also delivered a remarkable run, turning his debut live cash into a runner-up finish worth KRW 61,300,000 (~USD 43,786) including KRW 18,000,000 (~USD 12,857) in bounties. Joining them on the podium, China’s Chuan Feng breached the USD 100,000 career milestone with his best live result to date, banking KRW 68,000,000 (~USD 48,571) including KRW 27,000,000 (~USD 19,286) in bounties.
The final table was stacked with big names, including former APT Main Event champion and Thai superstar Punnat Punsri, who settled for fourth, and U.S. pro Kaiwen Wei, who added another deep run to his debut APT series.

Kishimoto Triumphs in Event #79: Big “O” Masters – PL Omaha Hi-Lo – 5 Card
Kishimoto takes down his fourth APT title
Japan’s Kaoru Kishimoto added another major accolade to his résumé at APT Jeju 2025 by winning Event #79: Big “O” Masters – PL Omaha Hi-Lo – 5 Card. The event drew 44 entries, with six players making the money, and Kishimoto claimed his fourth career APT title after an ICM chop at heads-up play.
With more than USD 400,000 in live earnings, Kishimoto already recorded two other cashes before this victory. At heads up, he and Austria’s Alexander Freund agreed to an ICM deal and then flipped for the trophy, with Kishimoto emerging on top to secure KRW 16,397,000 (~USD 11,712). Freund matched the payout in second place, taking home the same amount.
Australia’s Jie Chen completed the podium with a third-place finish worth KRW 8,550,000 (~USD 6,107),

Xin Earns Breakthrough Victory in Event #81: NL Hold’em / PL Omaha
Xin makes good on their first deep run in a tournament and gets it over the line
China’s Xin Xin achieved a poker career first at APT Jeju 2025, winning Event #81: NL Hold’em / PL Omaha. The event attracted 72 entries, with nine players paid, and Xin emerged victorious to secure KRW 5,031,382 (~USD 3,594). With no prior live cash history, this marks Xin’s first-ever APT title and first live tournament cash.
The runner-up spot went to the United States’ Jen Yue Chiang, who collected KRW 3,630,000 (~USD 2,593), while China’s Renjun Yang rounded out the podium in third place for KRW 2,360,000 (~USD 1,686).

Chan Earns First Title in Event #82: Women’s Event
Chan brings home her first APT title
Hong Kong’s Ching Nam Chan captured her first APT title in Event #82: Women’s Event, overcoming a field of 20 entries to secure the trophy and KRW 2,690,512 (~USD 1,922).
Malaysia’s Fei Shan Ong put in a strong showing but ultimately had to settle for second place, pocketing KRW 1,790,000 (~USD 1,278). Thailand’s Gatmanee Jitlert rounded out the podium with a third-place finish worth KRW 1,150,000 (~USD 821).

Lu explodes onto the scene with his first APT title
China’s Qingyu Lu scored a first for himself at APT Jeju 2025, winning Event #84: Turbo – PL Omaha Ultimate Hi-Lo – Double Board – Bomb Pot. The event attracted 30 entries, with five players reaching the money, and Lu emerged victorious to secure KRW 2,660,576 (~USD 1,900). The result marks both Lu’s first-ever live tournament cash and first APT title.
Japan’s Hayato Kitajima finished as runner-up, banking KRW 1,840,000 (~USD 1,314), while China’s Bin Yuan rounded out the podium with a third-place payout of KRW 1,170,000 (~USD 836).

Pohnke Strikes First APT Title in Event #85: Turbo – Atomic Pineapple
Pohnke collects his first title on the Asian poker circuit
Germany’s Thomas Pohnke claimed his maiden APT title in Event #85: Turbo – Atomic Pineapple, overcoming a lively field of 41 entries. The German pro, who is closing in on USD 300,000 in live earnings, showcased his experience to capture the trophy and the KRW 5,720,656 (~USD 4,086) top prize.
Australia’s Joan Kathleen Allen came close but ultimately settled for the runner-up finish, adding KRW 3,950,000 (~USD 2,821) to her series tally. Meanwhile, Kyle “Pocket Kyles” Ivanich, APT Commentator made a deep run and banked KRW 2,520,000 (~USD 1,800) for his efforts.

Zhang Secures Second Title in Event #86: Hyper Turbo – NL – 8-Game
Zhang has one APT title and two cashes so far at APT Jeju 2025
China’s Congya Zhang continued her impressive run at APT Jeju 2025 by winning Event #86: Hyper Turbo – NL – 8-Game, topping a compact but competitive field of 18 entries. The victory earned her KRW 2,420,460 (~USD 1,729) and marked her second APT title, adding to two other cashes already on her record in this series.
China’s Lante Zhang made a strong push for the title but ultimately finished as runner-up, banking KRW 1,610,000 (~USD 1,150). Fellow countryman Zehao Li, who has also collected multiple cashes and titles this festival, rounded out the podium in third place for KRW 1,040,000 (~USD 743).

Leung Triumphs in Event #87: Hyper Turbo – High Roller
Leung makes his mark at Jeju with this second APT title
Hong Kong’s Horace Leung added another accolade to poker resume by winning Event #87: Hyper Turbo – High Roller at APT Jeju 2025. The Hong Kong pro topped a 69-entry field to secure KRW 23,066,000 (~USD 16,476) and claim his second APT title, following an earlier cash this series.
China’s Afu Wang came close to snatching the trophy but ultimately settled for the runner-up prize of KRW 16,600,000 (~USD 11,857), while the United Kingdom’s Jun Li rounded out the podium with a strong third-place finish worth KRW 10,790,000 (~USD 7,707).

China’s Wenbin Xu captured his first APT title at APT Jeju 2025, taking down Event #88: Super Hyper Turbo. The event attracted a lively 69-entry field, with nine players making the money, and Xu claimed the top prize of KRW 5,621,545 (~USD 4,015). The win comes after two prior cashes earlier in the festival.
Hong Kong’s Ming Sun Pau put in a strong performance to finish as runner-up, taking home KRW 4,060,000 (~USD 2,900), while Australia’s Mouaid Peter Khamas rounded out the podium with KRW 2,640,000 (~USD 1,886).
