TAIPEI, TAIWAN, MAY 4, 2025– The final day of APT Taipei 2025 saw 200 high rollers go for broke in the final single day high roller event of the series in Event #118: High Roller - Last Chance. With one last shot at glory, the field was stacked with high stakes players eager to close out their campaign on a high.
In the end, it was Dinesh Alt of Switzerland who rose above the rest, capturing his first title of the series and TWD 2,486,000 (~USD 76,728) in prize money. The seasoned pro, who boasts over USD 1.7 million in live earnings, added to his two earlier cashes this festival.
Thailand’s Satanan Jungrungreangkit secured the runner-up spot for TWD 1,679,000 (~USD 51,822), while Tsui Han Hsiao of Malaysia finished third, taking home TWD 1,156,000 (~USD 35,679) to complete the competitive final podium.

Akutsu Binks Debut Title in Event #119: Women’s Event
Akutsu makes an impressive debut on the APT women's circuit with her first APT title and cash
Japan’s Mao Akutsu made a dream debut at the APT women’s circuit, securing her first APT title and cash in Event #119: Women’s Event. The newcomer rose above a 96-entry field, claiming the top prize of TWD 101,030 (~USD 3,118) and stamping her mark on the series in impressive fashion.
Taiwan’s Chia Lin Chang took the runner-up spot, collecting TWD 70,500 (~USD 2,176), while On Yi Wong of Hong Kong rounded out the podium with a third-place finish worth TWD 46,500 (~USD 1,434).

Aghayev Adds Third APT Title in Event #120: PL Omaha High – Lazy Rivers
Aghayev previously won the APT Main Event in APT Incheon 2022
Azerbaijani pro Farhad Aghayev captured his third career title in Event #120: PL Omaha High – Lazy Rivers. A former APT Main Event champion, Aghayev topped a compact but competitive field of 23 entries to bag the top prize of TWD 120,133 (~USD 3,709) — his second cash of the series as he nears the USD 300,000 live earnings milestone.
Paul Nattapatsiri from Thailand secured the runner-up finish, collecting TWD 79,500 (~USD 2,454), while Shi Huiqi Corine of Singapore, who took home an APT title this series, takes third place and TWD 51,000 (~USD 1,574) to round out the podium.

Lin Claims Debut Victory in Event #121: Turbo
Lin makes a successful debut on the APT circuit
Taiwan’s Shouze Lin emerged victorious in Event #121: Turbo, besting a 167-entry field to earn his first-ever APT title and live cash, pocketing TWD 245,600 (~USD 7,580) in the process. The win marks a successful debut for the local newcomer after making an ICM deal at heads up.
Joining Lin on the podium was Mongolia’s Dashsodnom Enkhjargal, who took the runner-up spot and the biggest payout of the event via an ICM deal, walking away with TWD 287,353 (~USD 8,869). Japan’s Daiki Monoe rounded out the top three with a third-place finish worth TWD 144,000 (~USD 4,444).

Hendri Clinches First APT Title in Event #122: Turbo – High Roller
Hendri ties up his series with a bowtie with his first APT title
Indonesian pro Jhon Hendri broke through in style to secure his first APT title in Event #122: Turbo – High Roller, besting a 114-entry field to take home TWD 867,860 (~USD 26,778). With over USD 400,000 in live earnings and two prior cashes already logged this series, Hendri adds a lion trophy to his already impressive poker résumé.
King Chun Horace Leung of Hong Kong came close to the top, finishing in second place for TWD 586,000 (~USD 18,088). Rounding out the podium was Malaysia’s Jo Seng Mok, who pocketed TWD 381,000 (~USD 11,759) for his efforts.

Yu Wins Last Women’s Event in APT Taipei 2025 in Event #123: Turbo – Women’s Event
Yu finishes her series off with her first APT title
Taiwan’s Fang Hsin Yu capped off a great APT series by capturing her first APT title in Event #123: Turbo – Women’s Event. The local amateur, who had previously cashed in the APT National Cup earlier in the festival, navigated a 113-entry field to walk away with the top prize of TWD 82,936 (~USD 2,560) — her biggest score to date.
The podium and final table was an all-Taiwanese affair, with Yu Hena finishing second for TWD 55,500 (~USD 1,713), while Li Tzu Pan secured third place, earning TWD 36,500 (~USD 1,126).

Quealy Grabs Third Career APT Title in Event #124: Turbo – PL Omaha Hi-Lo – 5 Card
Quealy collects his second APT title this series
American mixed games pro Patrick Quealy added another notch to his APT belt by claiming his third APT title in Event #124: Turbo – PL Omaha Hi-Lo – 5 Card. Showing consistency towards the end of the series,, Quealy secured the win just days after taking down Event #97: Limit – Quadruple Stud. He collected TWD 135,324 (~USD 4,177) for his latest victory.
On the runner-up step of the podium was Kyung Moon of South Korea, who earned TWD 96,500 (~USD 2,978), while Japan’s Hirotoshi Nakabo rounded out the top three with TWD 63,000 (~USD 1,944).

Huang Closes Out Series with Maiden Title in Event #125: Hyper Turbo
Huang makes a fairytale debut in Taipei
It was a fairytale finish for Yu Hao Huang, who capped off an impressive run at the series by clinching his first APT title in Event #125: Hyper Turbo. The Taiwanese amateur had already made a career-best score for a runner-up finish in Event #85: NL Hold'em – Freezeout, and this time he went one better, besting a 127-entry field to take home TWD 204,340 (~USD 6,308).
Joining him on the podium were Pui Cheung Ng from the United Kingdom, who earned TWD 138,000 (~USD 4,259) for second place, and Chi Ju Lin of Taiwan, who claimed third with TWD 90,000 (~USD 2,777).

Leung ends the series on a high note with his second APT title
Ka Shing Leung of Hong Kong closed out his series on a high note by claiming his second APT title in Event #126: Hyper Turbo – High Roller. The seasoned pro, who boasts over USD 300,000 in live earnings, outlasted a competitive 68-entry field to take the top prize of TWD 427,800 (~USD 13,207). It was also Leung’s second cash of the series.
Joining him on the podium were Ran Ilani of Israel, who secured TWD 308,500 (~USD 9,518) for second place, and the United Kingdom’s Zafaei Arrash, who banked TWD 200,500 (~USD 6,189) with a third-place finish.
