Chien Hung Chi opened from under the gun and Zi Han Lin called from the small blind. Yuki Kawabata also defended the big blind and the players went three-ways to the flop.
The 7 8 9 flop was checked to the 2 turn and Lin, the biggest stack in the tournament at the time, bet 6,400. This was enough to scare away both players, and Lin added even more to his mountain of a stack.

Lin Chi Lu was down to their remaining 1,200 and moved all in on the button. The small blind folded, leaving Si Han Tan to free roll and flip his hand in big blind.
Lin Chi Lu: A T
Si Han Tan: 7 4
Lu was looking strong and there was little sweat on the 9 K 9 flop.
A 3 turn and A river kept Lu in the tournament and he almost quadrupled his stack in that single hand.

Hugues Girard
Action came around to Napat Chokejindachai in the cutoff, who raised to 2,500 and was looked up by Hugues Girard on the button and Alan Khoo in the small blind.
The dealer peeled off the flop of 3 7 6 and it was checked to Chokejindachai, who continued for 3,300 and found two calls.
The Q came on the turn and both Khoo and Chokejindachai checked to Girard, who fired out for 12,000. Khoo made the call, and Chokejindachai got out of the way.
On the 8 river Khoo led out for 12,000, which sent Girard into the tank for a short time before he raised to 35,000, leaving himself one one hundred chips behind. Khoo then went into the tank for a touch longer before he tossed in a chip to signify the call, but was in shock to see Girard flip 5 4 for a flopped straight that improved on the river and sent his cards into the muck whilst the chips were sent to Girard for a double up and some.
