Yi Heng Luo limped from the small blind and Tom Verbruggen checked his option in the big. Luo checked the 6 Q T flop before folding to Verbruggen's 1,600 bet.

Hijack Junfeng Zou then opened to 3,200 and Shihie Huang defended his big blind. Huang check-called Zou's 3,000 bet on the 7 5 5 flop.

The 6 landed on the turn and both players checked it through to the 9 river, where Huang led for 7,000. Zou didn't take too long to put in the call, only to look sick as Huang tabled 6 5 for a turned full house.

In the following hand, Wang Zhujun raised to 4,000 from under the gun before being three-bet to 10,000 by big blind Chengcai Pan. Wang four-bet to 30,000 and called Pan's five-bet shove to put her tournament on the line:

"Letter A! Letter A! Letter A!" Wang shouted as she flipped for her tournament life.

She got double her wish, with both the letter A and the letter K appearing on the A 7 K flop.

Now needing to avoid the letter J, she quietened down and hoped to hold.

No J came on the 8 6 runout, and she scored the full double through the table chip leader.

Zou open-jammed from early position for 33,200 on the next hand, and again the hand after that, collecting the blinds both times.
