New in the mix are Tatsuya Hashimoto, Masanobu Okamura, Hao Wu, Kazuhide Kondo, Jinwoo Kim, Ryo Takeuchi, and Daijiro Fukuoka to name all but a few of the recent entries.

Hirohisa Yukawa didn't recover from the recent major setback against Hiroyuki Noda and was sent to the rail.

Hiroyuki Noda

With 4,600 in the middle to the T T 6 flop, Hirohisa Yukawa check-called for 2,200 and then checked the K on the turn.

Hiroyuki Noda bet 5,900 and used all smaller chip denominations, leaving six T-5,000 chips behind. Yukawa called and checked the 4 on the river.

Noda in the cutoff now used two time banks before he bet 20,000. Yukawa called and mucked when he was shown the T 2 for trips tens.

While Noda has nearly doubled, Maxim Lykov already busted.

It was heads up and the board of 9 8 J 3 was fanned out across the felt and there was about 6,000 sat in the pot.

Jun Li led out from middle position for 5,500 and was called by Junyu Huang in the big blind.

Both players checked on the 4 river and Li tabled 9 9 for a flopped set and was pushed the pot when Huang mucked his cards.

Dongying Ling raised to 600 and called a three-bet to 2,000 by Shogo Iimura, then checked the 9 8 4 flop. Iimura bet 6,000 and won the pot before he pointed out that he had missclicked and wanted to bet 1,500 instead.

Woo Hyon Shin

The hero not long ago, Woo Hyon Shin has become the second casualty of Day 1d with the tournament info showing 57 players out of 59 entries remaining.

In pot with multiple raises preflop to the J 4 4 flop, Kazuyuki Tanemura bet 6,500 from under the gun and Shin called in middle position. Tanemura then checked the Q turn and snap-called when Shin jammed.

Shinkichi Takano

Heads up to the turn of J T 4 5 with 8,000 sat in the pot and the action was checked around for the dealer to peel off the 7 as the river.

Naoki Naganuma checked from the big blind to Shinkichi Takano, who was in early position and fired out for 6,000. Naganuma went into the tank for a while before he tossed in the call but his cards were quickly tossed into the muck on seeing Takano table J J for a flopped set.

Three ways to the 6 5 5 flop the action checked through to the 6 turn on which the dealer called for the floor and told him Hyuma Igarashi had acted out of turn.

Igarashi then bet 500 and picked up two calls before he checked the 3 on the river. Woo Hyon Shin bet 1,000 and Mayuko Oki was the only caller.

Shin tabled his 9 5 for fives full of sixes.

The action was picked up on the T 4 2 Q turn and Hirohisa Yukawa checked from the big blind. Koichi Saeki bet 900 from an early position and Yukawa called.

On the 2 river, Yukawa check-called for another 2,600 and then mucked against the Q T of Saeki.

Nishikido Nobuhiro

Nishikido Nobuhiro raised to 300 from under the gun only to face a three-bet to 800 from Kazuyuki Tanemura in the hijack. Nobuhiro thought for a while and made the call.

The flop came Q 8 3 and Tanemura check-called Nobuhiro's 700 bet for the players to see the 5 peel off on the turn.

The action went check, check and the dealer flipped over the 3 as the river.

Tanemura checked to Nobuhiro who fired off a river bet of 1,600. Tanemura tanked for a while before he mucked his cards and the pot was pushed to Nobuhiro with no showdown.

Ivan Govorov

Without any betting action on the 7 6 3 flop and K turn, Ivan Govorov bet the 5 river for 500 into around 2,000.

Maxim Lykov called and was shown the A 7 for a pair of sevens by Govorov, which won the pot.
