Just days ago, Nevan Chang captured the APTC Mini Main Event Championship and he carried that momentum straight into the Freezeout Championship. As the only player in today’s field chasing a second series major title, his run had been anything but steady, seeing his stack swing all day.

Entering the final table, Chang was the shortest stack and finally got it all in on top of Jason Kyle Magbanua's three-bet of 210,000. Initial raiser Akira Takasugi got out of the way while Magbanua made the small top up.

Despite running into plenty of lucky breaks all day, the board didn't produce any for Chang this time as it ran 7 3 6 6 Q to end his bid in 9th place.
