The APT Jeju Classic 2026 Main Event is closing in on a four-figure field, with a further 317 Flight B entries (249 unique) throwing their hat into the ring and anteing up the KRW 2.3M (~USD 1,600) buy-in to bring the total number of entries up to 993.

With only 87 more entries needed to hit the KRW 2.2 billion (~USD 1.5 million) guarantee, it’s now just a matter of how large the prize pool will grow between now and the close of late registration at the end of level 11 at 12:15pm on Wednesday, February 4.

By the time the tournament clock ticked into the red at the end of the six 45-minute levels and four 60-minute levels played, the field had been reduced by over sixty percent, with 118 players bagging up chips at the conclusion of play.

It was China’s Tianhao Zheng the man to top the counts, with the two-time APT titleist padding out his chip bag with a stack of 367,000, which currently puts him third in the overall counts out of the combined 261 Flight A & B survivors.

Zheng was the only Flight B player to crack a stack of over 300K, with compatriot Zhou Lu bagging the next largest stack of 265,200.

APT Phu Quoc 2023 Super High Roller winner and APT Taipei 2025 High Roller champion Trung Quan Nguyen rounded out the top three, with the Vietnamese player finishing the flight on a stack of 258,000 with the top ten stacks as follows:

Some of poker’s top tournament players anted up the hefty KRW 35M (~USD 24.1K) buy-in and duked it out over the fourteen 40-minute levels in an attempt to make the Final Day and win a slice of the KRW 1,609,950,000 (~USD 1,118,020) prize pool, with the top nine places paid.
