After four epic days of tournament poker, the APT Jeju 2026 Main Event has reached its final eight players.

The finalists have battled through a 1,375 entry-field and are now playing for the largest shares of the KRW 3,207,600,000 (~USD 2,393,730) total prize pool, with each player already guaranteed at least KRW 53,230,000 (~USD 39,725).

The eventual champion will walk away with a KRW 556,340,00 (~USD 415,180) top prize, a USD 10,000 seat to November's APT Championship (APTC) Main Event and the coveted 24K gold APT Main Event Lion Trophy. The two runners up will also receive seats to the APTC Main Event.

The full action leading to the final table can be found on the APT blog, or you can relive the action through the recorded live stream on the official APT YouTube channel.

China’s Jianfeng Sun leads the way with 12,060,000, while Singaporean Steve Ng returns as his closest opponent with 9,050,000. Ireland’s Toby Joyce is the most experienced of the returning players, sitting in third place on the counts currently, having accumulated 8,790,000 chips.

It’s not the first time many of these players have come close to winning an APT Main Event title; Sun and Erdun Xu have even crossed paths before after both final tabling the same APT Main Event here in Jeju back in 2024.

With the final table set after a dramatic double elimination on the final table bubble, just eight players remain. Let’s take a look at their poker experience and how they might navigate this Jeju 2026 Main Event final table:

Seat 1: Jianfeng Sun (China) – 12,060,000 - 75 Big Blinds

Jianfeng Sun enters the final table as the chip leader with 12,060,000 and has ~USD 1,500,000 in recorded live tournament earnings. Sun has already come agonizingly close to winning an APT Main Event in Jeju, finishing runner-up to Xixiang Luo in the APT Jeju 2024 Main Event, earning KRW 257,880,000 after a brief 15-hand heads-up battle.

Sun’s run at the APT doesn't stop there, as earlier in this series he was also the runner-up in the Mystery Bounty Hunter Event, taking home KRW 84,119,200 (~USD 62,072). He now has another opportunity to go one place better and capture not just any APT title, but the Main Event title that narrowly eluded him two years ago.

Seat 2: Kwang Chung Tan (Singapore) – 6,750,000 - 42 Big Blinds

Seat 2_ Kwang Chung Tan 1.jpg Singapore’s Kwang Chung Tan enters the final table with 6,750,000 and has USD 95,000 in recorded live tournament earnings.

Tan’s previous best APT Main Event performance came earlier this year in Taipei, where he finished 22nd for TWD 585,500. That USD 18,597 payday remains his largest recorded live cash.

Tan also cashed in the APT Incheon 2025 and 2026 Main Events, but this run marks his first appearance at an APT Main Event final table, making it a massive moment for the Singaporean. Looking at the payouts, securing a fifth-place finish or higher tomorrow would double his lifetime earnings overnight.

Seat 3: Steve Ng (Singapore) – 9,050,000 - 57 Big Blinds

Seat 3_ Steve Ng 1.jpg Singapore’s Steve Ng returns second in chips with 9,050,000 and has USD 260,000 in recorded live tournament earnings. Ng has experience in this spot, having previously reached the APT Taipei 2024 Main Event final table where he finished ninth.

However, his largest recorded result came at APT Taipei 2025, where he placed runner-up in the Baby Superstar Challenge for USD 113,455. Finishing fourth place or higher would mark a new career-best result for Ng.

Seat 4: Jiawei Wan (China) – 2,875,000 - 18 Big Blinds

Seat 4_ Jiawei Wan 2.jpg China’s Jiawei Wan returns with one of the shortest stacks at 2,875,000 and the least experience on paper, holding just USD 5,824 in recorded live tournament earnings.

However, he isn’t to be dismissed—his careful navigation of this four-day marathon has proved he can go the distance. Wan’s The Hendon Mob profile contains just four previous results, all recorded in 2025, making 2026 already his most successful year yet.

This appears to be Wan’s first recorded APT cash, taking him directly to the Main Event final table. Eyes will be firmly fixed on Wan to see how he navigates the pressures of the final table tomorrow.

Seat 5: Toby Joyce (Ireland) – 8,790,000 - 55 Big Blinds

Seat 5_ Toby Joyce.png Ireland’s Toby Joyce is the most accomplished player at the final table, bringing 8,790,000 in chips and more than USD 3.8 million in recorded live tournament earnings into the final day.

Joyce’s career highlights include a WSOP online bracelet won in a Pot Limit Omaha event in 2020, and a runner-up finish in a WPT event that gave him his largest career cash to date of USD 1,120,040.

Joyce captured one of the biggest titles of his career at the APT Championship 2025, winning the High Roller Championship for TWD 17,618,976 (~USD 562,753).

Joyce has already reached the podium in Jeju this week, finishing runner-up in the festival’s Pot Limit Omaha High Roller for KRW 16,690,000 (~USD 12,316), and he will be back under the familiar spotlight tomorrow for another full day of battle.

Seat 6: Weimin Chen (China) – 5,400,000 - 34 Big Blinds

Seat 6_ Weimin Chen 1.jpg China’s Weimin Chen enters the final table with 5,400,000 and USD 9,570 in recorded live tournament earnings across four previous cashes, with a tournament record dating back to 2024. One of those results came in the APT Jeju Classic 2026 Main Event, where Chen finished 130th for KRW 4,650,000 (~USD 3,205), sitting just shy of his highest recorded cash.

Chen’s first APT final table has arrived on the tour’s biggest stage. His run in Jeju is already set to transform his tournament record, and he remains in contention for his first recorded live title. Having locked up KRW 53,230,000 (~USD 39,725), he has already far surpassed his prior career bests.

Seat 7: Erdun Xu (China) – 2,590,000 - 16 Big Blinds

Seat 7_ Erdun Xu 1.jpg China’s Erdun Xu enters as the shortest stack with 2,590,000, but makes up for it in experience. He has earnt over USD 350,000 in recorded live tournament earnings and also previously reached the APT Jeju 2024 Main Event final table. He was the first player eliminated from that final table, finishing in ninth for KRW 31,970,000 but has already surpassed this and returns one of eight.

Xu will return to some familiar company as fellow 2024 final-tablist and current chip leader, Jianfeng Sun has his eyes on the same prize. Xu returns as the most vulnerable stack and will be looking to spin up his chips to remain in the 2026 APT Main Event.

Seat 8: Shuang Qiu (China) – 5,750,000 - 36 Big Blinds

Seat 8_ Shuang Qiu 2.jpg China’s Shuang Qiu returns with 5,750,000 and has just over USD 280,000 in recorded live tournament earnings.

Qiu knows exactly what it takes to make a deep Main Event run in Jeju having finished third in the APT Jeju 2025 Main Event for KRW 255,380,000—a result worth USD 181,239 that stands as his largest recorded live cash.

Having now reached the final table in consecutive editions of the APT Jeju Main Event, he will be looking to build his APT record and improve upon last year’s podium finish.
