Adrian State made it 4,000 from the hijack and got called by both the button Abelard Ma and big blind Ren Han Yong.

After the dealer spread a flop of 6 6 8 , action was checked to Ma who took a stab for a light 4,000. Only State was interested in continuing to head to fourth street.

Unlike the previous betting round, the K on the turn generated heavier action starting with an 11,000 bet from Ma that State check-raised all-in. Ma only had 30,000 behind and was more than covered.

After using up two time-banks, Ma risked it and flipped open J 7 for a flush.

To his disappointment, State also had the flush, albeit a higher one, with Q 9 which meant Ma was drawing dead. The river was meaningless A .
