JEJU, SOUTH KOREA, September 27, 2025– India’s Jayraj Ninama marked his arrival on the APT stage by capturing his first APT title in Event #12: PL Omaha High – High Roller. The high roller PLO event attracted 27 entries, with only four players making the money. Ninama, who boasts over USD 150,000 in live earnings, secured KRW 29,384,000 (~USD 20,989) — the third-highest cash of his career — to lift the trophy. For Ninama, this win also marked his first cash on the APT circuit.
Singapore’s The Naing, already an APT champion in a previous festival, was bidding for his second title but ultimately settled for the runner-up spot and KRW 19,600,000 (~USD 14,000). The finish pushed his career live earnings past the USD 400,000 mark.
Also contending for a second APT title was mixed-game specialist Daniel Adam Haywood, who earned KRW 12,600,000 (~USD 9,000) for third place. Representing New Zealand, Haywood had his eye on the Omaha crown but a top finish would elude him on this occasion.

Tao Claims First APT Title in Event #13: Women’s Event
Tao converts another deep run into her first APT title
China’s Tao Ying claimed her first APT title in Event #13: Women’s Event, overcoming a 44-entry field to secure the trophy and KRW 3,600,844 (~USD 2,572). With three prior APT cashes — including a narrow runner-up finish — Tao finally converted her deep run into a championship victory.
Liangyi Tang finished in second place, banking KRW 2,480,000 (~USD 1,771), while Hiu Lam Chiu secured the final podium spot with KRW 1,580,000 (~USD 1,129).
The top finishers were dominated entirely by Chinese players, with all six payouts going to representatives from the same nation:

Zhang Claims First APT Title in Event #14: Dealer’s Choice
Zhang ships his first APT title
China’s Junqing Zhang secured his first APT title in Event #14: Dealer’s Choice, outlasting a 22-entry field in the mixed-game format. The amateur player showed versatility across multiple poker variants to capture the trophy and a payout of KRW 5,335,369 (~USD 3,811).
Runner-up honours went to fellow Chinese player Yang Lu, who earned KRW 3,560,000 (~USD 2,543), while Japan’s Takuma Morimoto rounded out the podium with a third-place finish worth KRW 2,290,000 (~USD 1,636).

Narozhny Captures First APT Title in Event #15: Turbo – PL Omaha Ultimate Hi-Lo – Cry Me A River
Narozhny takes it over the line for his first APT title
Belarusian pro Siarhei Narozhny added a new accolade to his poker career by taking down Event #15: Turbo – PL Omaha Ultimate Hi-Lo – Cry Me A River, defeating a 37-entry field to secure his first APT title. With more than USD 400,000 in live earnings, Narozhny navigated the swings to take home the trophy and a payout of KRW 4,390,947 (~USD 3,136).
China’s Dong Li came close but had to settle for second place, banking KRW 3,020,000 (~USD 2,157), while Japan’s Ryuta Iketaki completed the podium finishers with a third-place prize of KRW 1,920,000 (~USD 1,371).

Tsui Captures First APT Title in Event #16: Turbo
Tsui wraps up the festival's second day with his first APT title
Hong Kong’s Leslie Tsui celebrated his first poker victory by securing his first APT title in Event #16: Turbo, which drew a sizeable 70-entry field. After nearly an hour of heads-up play, Tsui and runner-up Mingrui Cen agreed to an ICM chop, leaving the trophy and KRW 281,000 (~USD 200) to play for. Tsui ultimately prevailed, lifting the trophy and taking home KRW 9,286,000 (~USD 6,633).
Cen, from China, claimed KRW 8,085,000 (~USD 5,775) for second place under the deal, while Thailand’s Yotaka Phutiya, looking for her second APT title herself, rounded out the podium with a third-place finish worth KRW 4,730,000 (~USD 3,379).

Weng Secures Fifth APT Title in Event #17: Hyper Turbo – No Limit Quadruple Stud
Weng takes down his fifth APT title in mixed game events
China’s Jun Weng continued to showcase his mastery of mixed games by winning Event #17: Hyper Turbo – No Limit Quadruple Stud, adding a fifth APT title to his collection. With over USD 200,000 in live earnings, Weng has built a reputation as one of the circuit’s most consistent mixed game performers, and remarkably, all five of his APT victories have come in mixed games.
The event drew 20 entries, with Weng ultimately outlasting the field to claim KRW 2,690,512 (~USD 1,922).
Fellow Chinese player Daming Kang finished runner-up for KRW 1,790,000 (~USD 1,279), while Japan’s Nobuhiro Takahashi secured third place and KRW 1,150,000 (~USD 821).

Conan Makes Victorious APT Debut in Event #18: Hyper Turbo – High Roller
French pro Conan debuts on the APT circuit with his first APT title
French professional Arthur Conan made an immediate impact on his APT debut by taking down Event #18: Hyper Turbo – High Roller. Known primarily for his success on the European circuit, Conan topped a 23-entry field to claim the trophy and a payout of KRW 12,508,000 (~USD 8,935).
China’s Wenbin Xu battled to the end but settled for second place, earning KRW 8,350,000 (~USD 5,964), while fellow countryman Yankai Zhang followed up his earlier victory in the series with another strong showing, finishing third for KRW 5,370,000 (~USD 3,836). Singapore’s Bao Qiang Ho rounded out the payouts with a fourth-place prize of KRW 3,580,000 (~USD 2,557).

Yu Claims First APT Title in Event #19: Super Hyper Turbo
Yu takes home his first APT title
China’s Ting Yu broke through for his first APT title in Event #19: Super Hyper Turbo, rising above a 87-entry field in the quick-fire format. Yu secured the win along with a payout of KRW 6,391,948 (~USD 4,566).
The runner-up finish went to compatriot Chen Chaopeng, who earned KRW 4,480,000 (~USD 3,200), while Qingtao Kong, also from China, completed the top three with KRW 2,960,000 (~USD 2,114).
