JEJU, SOUTH KOREA, October 5, 2025– After three starting flights and a stacked field of 254 entries, the Ultra Stack reached its thrilling conclusion on the final day of the APT Jeju 2025 festival. The two-day event, featuring a 100,000-chip starting stack, generated a prize pool of KRW 179,200,000. Only 37 players advanced to the Final Day — all guaranteed a payout — but it was Zhonghuan Dai from Singapore who outlasted them all to claim the title and the trophy in style.

Dai, who had already recorded one other cash earlier in the series, showed composure and precision throughout Final Day's play. The Singaporean’s victory not only earned him KRW 35,850,454 (~USD 25,753) but also more than doubled his total live career earnings, enough for his best-ever live cash and a defining mark in his tournament career.

Taiwan’s Hua Wei Lin, one half of the Natural8-sponsored “WinPokerCouple” and with over USD 600,000 in live earnings, came close to adding a fourth APT title to her poker career. She fought valiantly throughout the late stages and reached heads-up play before falling just short, securing a commendable second-place finish worth KRW 23,890,000 (~USD 17,151).

China’s Yun Long Jin also made a strong impression, finishing third for KRW 17,470,000 (~USD 12,546). Meanwhile, Yanlin Wu, who started the Final Day as the overall chip leader, finished in fifth place for KRW 11,040,000 (~USD 7,927) — a strong showing despite narrowly missing out on a podium finish.

Lobo Claims First APT Title in Event #99: Micro Main Event

Lobo ends his series with his first APT title and live cash

India’s Jeevan Vivian Lobo made his mark on the APT stage by taking down Event #99: Micro Main Event at APT Jeju 2025. The tournament closer drew 112 entries, giving players a chance to experience a Main Event-style structure at a smaller buy-in. After navigating a field filled with both newcomers and APT regulars, Lobo emerged as the last player standing to capture his first-ever live cash and first APT title.

When play reached heads-up, an ICM deal was agreed upon between Lobo and China’s Ting Yu, leaving KRW 365,180 and the trophy to play for. Lobo held his nerve to claim victory and KRW 9,941,792 (~USD 7,140).

China’s Yu put up a strong fight but narrowly missed out on his own maiden title and settled for KRW 9,870,000 (~USD 7,086). Meanwhile, Australia’s Neng Zhao completed the podium with a third-place finish worth KRW 5,300,000 (~USD 3,804).

Wang Clinches First APT Title in Record-Breaking Event #100: High Roller – Last Chance

Wang showed why he was top class with his first APT title on the last day of the festival

The final one-day High Roller event of APT Jeju 2025 delivered a fitting finale and made history in the process. The event set a new APT country record for field size, prize pool, and top prize for a High Roller – Last Chance event, drawing an impressive 116 entries.

In a field stacked with the elite, Michael Wang, an accomplished American pro and WSOP bracelet winner with over USD 9 million in live earnings, rose to the occasion. Already with a prior cash earlier this series, Wang took down his first APT title, earning KRW 75,672,000 (~USD 54,052).

China’s Weidong Guo came close to glory, finishing runner-up for KRW 51,110,000 (~USD 36,507) after a spirited heads-up battle, while Japan’s Hajime Watanabe continued his fine run of form this season, taking third place and KRW 33,220,000 (~USD 23,729).

Haywood's string of successes in Omaha this series culminates in his second APT trophy

New Zealand’s Daniel Adam Haywood proved once again why he’s one to watch out for in Omaha formats, triumphing in Event #101: PL Omaha High at APT Jeju 2025. The event drew 14 entries, bringing together a compact yet competitive field of seasoned mixed-game regulars.

A familiar face at the Omaha tables, Haywood has been one of the most consistent performers of the series, and this victory marks his fourth cash of the festival — all coming in Omaha events. His deep understanding of the variant once again shone through, as he navigated a tough field to claim his second APT title and the top prize of KRW 3,875,235 (~USD 2,782).

Japan’s Naruhito Baba also made an impressive showing, securing second place and KRW 2,590,000 (~USD 1,860). Meanwhile, Chak Pan Yiu of Hong Kong rounded out the podium in third, earning KRW 1,620,000 (~USD 1,163) for yet another solid finish in the series’ closing stages.

The final day of APT Jeju 2025 saw China’s Jia Zhu taking down Event #102: Turbo – Double Stack, outlasting a 57-entry field to secure his first-ever APT title. After two previous cashes earlier in the festival, Zhu finally took one over the line, wrapping up his Jeju campaign in style. His victory earned him KRW 9,941,792 (~USD 7,140).

Finishing just behind him was Ting Yu, who battled valiantly to the end but had to settle for second place and a payout of KRW 9,870,000 (~USD 7,086) for his second cash of the day. Rounding out the top three was Australia’s Neng Zhao, whose deep run earned him KRW 5,300,000 (~USD 3,804).

Mehdi takes down his second APT title to close out a successful debut on the APT

Closing out the action-packed final day of APT Jeju 2025, Chaoui Roqai Mehdi once again proved his high-roller prowess by taking down Event #103: Turbo – High Roller. The Moroccan pro, who had earlier captured his first APT title in the Single Day High Roller, made it a double with another stellar performance against a 48-entry field. With this victory, he secured KRW 19,598,000 (~USD 14,000).

China’s Qing Bo Gao put up a formidable fight before bowing out in second place for KRW 14,150,000 (~USD 10,107), while Germany’s Fabian Hagen Bartuschk completed the podium, taking home KRW 9,020,000 (~USD 6,443) for his deep run.
