JEJU, SOUTH KOREA, February 1, 2026– The action reaches a boiling point on Day 3 of APT Jeju Classic 2026.

In our busiest day so far, Flight A of the Main Event has kicked off. There will be three more flights for players to qualify for Day 2 of the Main Event, in what is looking to be one of the biggest Main Events we have run in Jeju. Keep an eye out for the numbers as we get closer to the halfway point off the festival.

Methavee makes the biggest score of her poker career

Methavee Taveekitvatee delivered a career-defining performance at APT Jeju Classic 2026 by capturing her first APT title in Event #21: High Roller – Single Day – Mystery Bounty. The Thai player topped a massive 141-entry field to secure total winnings of KRW 80,036,000 (~USD 56,036), including KRW 24,000,000 (~USD 16,830) in bounties, almost doubling her lifetime live earnings and locking up the biggest score of her career.

Second place went to Yusuke Okabe of Japan, who continued his pursuit of a maiden APT title but had to settle for the runner-up spot with KRW 66,060,000 (~USD 38,000) in total winnings, boosted by KRW 28,000,000 (~USD 19,660) in bounties.

Cheng Huang of China completed the podium in third place, earning KRW 65,100,000 (~USD 25,000) overall, including a tournament-leading KRW 40,000,000 (~USD 28,070) in bounty payouts, after falling just short of securing a second APT title.

Yu goes to bed a winner after taking down his second APT title

One of the most popular side events on the APT calendar once again delivered a sizeable turnout, with Event #19: Sunday Super Stack attracting 266 entries at APT Jeju Classic 2026. Ting Yu continued his strong recent run on the tour by capturing his second APT title, finishing on top after an ICM deal was agreed heads-up.

The Chinese player emerged victorious after the deal left KRW 1,414,456 and the trophy in play, which Ting Yu ultimately secured to go along with total winnings of KRW 19,914,256 (~USD 13,973). His heads-up opponent, Luo Ziyun of China, settled for second place with KRW 16,500,000 (~USD 11,578) after a deep run in the large-field event.

Third place went to Sarawoot Ratanatabtim of Thailand, who earned KRW 10,630,000 (~USD 7,459).

Adam Alfie added another trophy to his APT résumé with victory in Event #20: Masters Omaha – PL Omaha High, securing his second APT title after topping a 34-entry field. The English pro collected KRW 16,294,000 (~USD 11,431) for the win.

Second place went to John Charles Caridad of Australia, who earned KRW 11,240,000 (~USD 7,880) following another deep run at this festival. Xiaochuan Zhang of China completed the podium in third place, collecting KRW 7,160,000 (~USD 5,024).

Mizuho Mukai claimed a breakthrough win with victory in Event #22: Women’s Event, capturing her first APT title and first recorded live cash. The Japanese amateur topped a 42-entry field to secure the KRW 4,561,075 (~USD 3,200) top prize.

Second place went to fellow compatriot Mayo Morimitsu, who earned KRW 3,160,000 (~USD 2,217). Yue Ling of China completed the podium in third place, collecting KRW 2,020,000 (~USD 1,417) to round out the top three.

The American topped a 35-entry field to claim his fourth APT title, all coming in mixed-game formats, along with the KRW 7,483,088 (~USD 5,251) first-place prize.
