The TWD 10,000 Event #91: Omaholic (Omaha High - PL Pre / NL Post) - Sponsored by Natural8 saw 63 Omaha enthusiasts (38 unique) in action, making it the largest Omaholic Event the APT has hosted.

The action played out over twenty-one 25-minute levels, with players battling for a share of the TWD 543,879 (~USD 17,295) prize pool. It was South Korea’s Wooram Cho who clinched the title, defeating Hong Kong’s Wai Tak Chong heads-up to take a TWD 157,879 (~USD 5,020) top prize, earning his maiden APT title in the process.

Chong collected TWD 114,000 (~USD 3,625) for his runner-up finish, with Serbia’s Danilo Radonjic rounding out the podium and taking TWD 74,000 (~USD 2,350) for third place. A total of nine players made the money, with the tournament paying out as follows:

The action played out over twenty-three 25-minute levels, with Andrija Robovic of Republika Srpska claiming the accolades, defeating the UK’s Thomas Hall heads-up to take the TWD 1,359,330 (~USD 43,225) top prize and earn his maiden live tournament title.

Hong Kong’s Edward Yam has become the third player this series to scoop three events titles, claiming his latest trophy in the TWD 7,000 Event #95: Turbo - NL Single Draw 2-7, which drew a 31-strong field (24 unique), generating a TWD 185,231 (~USD 5,890) prize pool.

It took Yam seventeen 15-minute levels to win his third career APT title, all of which have come this festival, with the Hong Kong player defeating compatriot Sparrow Cheung heads-up to take the TWD 68,231 (~USD 2,170) top prize – his sixth cash of the festival.

Cheung collected TWD 47,000 (~USD 1,495) for his eighth cash of the series, with Australia’s Jarryd Godena rounding out the winner’s podium and taking TWD 30,000 (~USD 955) for third place. It was Japan’s Yamato Nakai who successfully piloted his stack across the finish line, besting Taiwan’s Tsu Lin Tsao heads-up to take a TWD 307,350 (~USD 9,775) top prize and earn his maiden live tournament title.

Taiwan’s Yuehchiao Yang has become the latest player to score a second series title, seeing off challenges from a 96-strong field (83 unique) in the TWD 8,000 Event #98: Tick Tock BOOM! (Levels Decrease Every Hour 15/10/5/2) to take the lion’s share of the TWD 655,564 (~USD 20,850) prize pool.

The action played out over 36 levels, with the tournament clock reduced to two-minute levels by the conclusion. Yang defeted Japan’s Yoshimune Nezu heads-up to take a TWD 173,564 (~USD 5,520) top prize and earn his second Baby Lion trophy of the festival.
