To qualify, all you need to do is follow these steps:
- Draw for your seat before starting time
- Have your chips put into play on the first deal of Level 1
*Players that qualify for bubble protection will maintain the status on the same day re-entry. For players wanting bubble protection on a next day re-entry will have to repeat the steps in order to be eligible.
Two-time Championships Event winners
The first-ever APT Championships Event took place last year at this same series. Japanese pro Iori Yogo claimed the inaugural title by denying Filipino pro Lester Edoc the glory.
Yogo went on to win a second one at APT Finale Philippines in December 2018 thus becoming the first player to ever to accomplish such a feat. This year saw Korean pro Lim Yohwan join him in that exclusive bracket. Yohwan won the event at APT Kickoff Vietnam having first claimed it at APT Philippines II 2018 last September.
