Chih Wei Fan opened with a min-raise to 500,000 and Punnat Punsri 3-bet to 2,000,000. Fan came back at Punsri with a 4-bet to 3,700,000 only for Punsri to stick in a 5-bet to 5,600,000. Facing a 5-bet from Punnat Punsri is a situation that most poker players would not want to find themselves in - perhaps except for Fan as he shipped his entire 14,000,000-chip stack in the middle and Punsri snapped him off.

Fan 6-bet all-in holding just ace-five and ran straight into the aces of chip leader, Punsri, who was now on the brink of eliminating Fan and taking a humongous chip lead on this final table.

I mentioned Fan erupting earlier but this was a different kind of eruption as his chips looked to be flowing in the direction of Punsri.

A flop of 3♦ 7♥ T♣ offered little help to Fan and he was dead by the turn as the 8♦ fell with the 4♥ completing the board.
