MANILA, PHILIPPINES, March 21, 2024 – The Asian Poker Tour sponsored by Natural8 is pleased to announce the full schedule details for the upcoming APT Jeju, South Korea 2024, running April 26 to May 5.
Run in partnership with Landing Entertainment Korea (LEK) the festival will take place at the world-class Landing Hotel & Casino located in the luxurious Jeju Shinhwa Resort on the picturesque South Korean island of Jeju.
While this will be the fourth time the APT has visited Jeju, this marks the first visit of the new era following a seven-year hiatus, with Japan's Katsuhiro Muto the last APT Jeju Main Event champion crowned back in March 2017.
The new era prize pools are over twenty times larger, with the APT Main Event coming with a sizable KRW 2 billion (~USD 1.5 million) guarantee and the ten-day festival boasting over KRW 5 billion (~USD 3.76 million) in guaranteed prize money.
The action-packed series will spread 85 Trophy Events comprising 53 No Limit Hold'em tournaments featuring 24 assorted Turbo, Hyper Turbo, Super Hyper Turbo, and Tick Tock offerings, and 11 High Roller tournaments with at least one scheduled daily, plus 18 Omaha tournaments that include Limit, Pot Limit, & No Limit variants, and an eclectic selection of 14 Mix Games.
There are also two new additions to the schedule; the KRW 1.5M (~USD 1,125) Omaha Masters - PL Omaha High and the KRW 1.5M Mix Game Masters (9 Game - NLH - Razz - 2-7 Triple - PLO - Stud H/L - Limit Holdem - 2-7 Single - Stud - Omaha H/L).
Note: Some scheduled Mix Game, Omaha, or Hold'em variations are pending regulatory approval. If necessary, these tournaments will be changed to an approved Mix Game, Omaha, or Hold'em variation accordingly.
