COMMUNITY MANAGER

We are seeking an experienced Community Manager to lead interactions with global audiences and customers. Your role will be key in maintaining and growing our online presence, engaging with the community, and ensuring effective communication of events and updates, while fostering organic conversations and conversion opportunities. Fluency in written and spoken English is required, along with being a confident, strategic, and creative online communicator who builds strong relationships with both core and casual audiences. As the primary point of contact, you will develop innovative strategies to foster positive brand sentiment and increase public awareness. You’ll also have the opportunity to create, curate, and publish engaging content for followers, fans, and new customers, while advocating for live tournaments, streams, and supporting marketing initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Content strategy and management: Develop and execute content strategies and calendars that ensure consistent messaging across all platforms.
  • Engage online and in-person communities: Strengthen engagement during in-person events and ensure consistent interaction with online communities.
  • Work with internal and external resources: Collaborate to produce engaging content, offers, and assets for social channels, emails, and forums to build connections.
  • Manage social media platforms: Post regular, relevant content and encourage user-generated content (UGC) to grow the community.
  • Customer segmentation and lifecycle management: Use data to segment audiences, ensuring communication is targeted and relevant.
  • Coordinate promotional campaigns: Partner with marketing to define and implement campaigns, competitions, and paid ads.
  • Player retention: Build loyalty programs and engagement strategies to retain players and increase participation across platforms.
  • Crisis management: Handle sensitive situations strategically to protect and enhance the brand.
  • Livestream interaction: Engage with livestream audiences by responding to comments and creating an inclusive, participatory environment.
  • Organize promotional events: Work with marketing and event teams to plan online and in-person events that increase brand visibility.
  • Influencer management: Build relationships with influencers, ambassadors, and partners to maximize brand reach.
  • Report performance and recommend improvements: Track KPIs such as engagement, retention, and conversion rates, and provide reports and recommendations to leadership.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Fluency in English is required, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proven track record in social media and community management across platforms like Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok.
  • Experience with livestream platforms such as YouTube, Twitch, Discord, etc.
  • Strong crisis management and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with digital marketing tools (Google Analytics, Facebook Insights, Hootsuite, Sprout, etc.).
  • Ability to travel frequently.
  • Knowledge and passion for poker is an added advantage.
