Official awarding today and another set of crowd favorite events on the floor

We are back at the Asian Poker Tour Philippines 2016 II with the third day of side event selections already underway at Resorts World Manila in Newport City, Philippines. The doors opened with one of the crowd favorites, the Head Hunter US$100/Bounty which drew in a solid field of 123 players. Among those seen hunting for heads to scalp were Canadian pro Linh Tran, Australia’s Piyush Gupta, Hong Kong player Kit Kwan Kwok, and Malaysia’s Victor Chong.

Running alongside was the Ladies of Poker event with cards flipping at one table followed by the High Roller Open Face Chinese Pineapple Shootout 12 Max. The Battle of the Nations event also returned from yesterday’s break with three remaining teams vying for the trophy.

Today marked the first official awarding of trophies with several event champions getting a photo op with the lovely ladies of the APT against the festival backdrop. Here are our first few happy winners.
