87 Players Show Up for APT Asian Series Cambodia Opening Event – Good Player Numbers Expected for Main Event

The Asian Poker Tour’s much-anticipated return for the APT Asian Series Cambodia 2014 was off to an impressive start as players made their way to the Queenco Casino and Hotel at Victory Beach in Sihanoukville.

A total of 87 entries registered for the opening Welcome to APT event which exceeded expectations. In addition, a good number of generous players signed up to do their part for a worthy cause in the Ante Up for Charity; where a third of the prize pool will be donated to Let Us Createa local Cambodian non-profit organization.

“ We are delighted normally we expect around 40-50 players on the first day as most players are normally still flying in… To have this number so early in the week is a fantastic start,” said APT Tournament Director Lloyd Fontillas.
